A beautiful experience at Safa Hotel in Sifi IFNI. The elegance of the place, impeccable service, and breathtaking view make it a haven of luxury and relaxation. Every moment spent here is a true delight for the senses.

Hotel SAFA Sidi Ifni

We stayed here with an Intrepid Travel group. From the outside the place looks promising and is likely one of the better places in town, but our room was quite lacking in basics and safety. Room 117 was large enough, but very sparsely furnished and poorly lit. It had no personality and could have been a budget hotel room anywhere in the world. 

For us, the worst aspect of staying there was the unsafe electrical fixtures. The electrical outlet by my bedside table was loose and pulled partly out of the wall when I tried to use it. It was very difficult to safely remove our charger. The reading light over both beds had a worn, glue-repaired cord, which blinked constantly and then stopped working. We unplugged it and got by with the extremely low-wattage overhead bulb. (We reported these issues to the desk at checkout.) 

In the plus column: The shower was hot and the sink had a working plug so we could wash some clothing. 

Overall, the room was the poorest quality in 25 days traveling in Morocco. At check-in, our first room had no shower curtain so we were moved to a room with a dirty one. Towels had large tears, bedspreads were stained/soiled, breakfast was the most minimal we’ve had-bread, juice and coffee served without any plates! 

If you do need to stay at this hotel, thoroughly inspect your room before moving in!

Lacking in Morocco 

We stayed one night at the Hotel Safa. The room was inexpensive, clean, and comfortable -with balcony views of both the Atlantic and the mountains. Located a couple of minutes walk from the center of town, the bus stop, the beach, a grocery store, bakery and pharmacy. Service was excellent. The hotel has a restaurant and serves delicious food. This was a terrific find - it's hard to recommend it because we don't really want anyone to find out about it! We stayed during Ramadan and, even though the restaurant was closed for breakfast, the staff provided coffee and croissants for us. 

Right on the beach, very close to market and shops.Average prices and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there is bad communication between management, reception and services! And this may affect bookings or charges...

Our room was large and the bed was comfortable.  Cleanliness is obviously not a major concern with management.  Bathroom was adequate, decent shower.  TV worked fine.
Breakfast was OK,  mostly just pastries and jams.  Decent value.
A short walk to busy townsight.  People were inquisitive and friendly.  Found an excellent new restaurant a few blocks from the hotel.  The front desk (young man) was extremely nice to deal with.

OK Hotel Not Bad For The Price

Not a great start, we had booked on the internet in advance but the receptionist had no record of our booking, 2 rooms for 2 nights , ...Sidi Ifni is on a steep hill but the hotel is in a good location at the top of the town, next to the Saturday market which was an easy stroll away..........both rooms were a good size...but basic hygiene and cleaning throughout the whole of the hotel were severely lacking. You could write your name in the dust on the handrail on one of the stairwells. !!  Our bedding had a cigarette burn in.....and the bathroom in our friends room was so dirty that my friend felt she had to clean it before she could use it!!...I know we are right on the beach, but all the windows were very dirty........all that said....the beds were comfortable, with plenty of extra bedding in case the weather had turned cold.
The layout of the bathroom is a bit odd...the toilet uses some of the shower space, it has a free standing shower, with good water pressure , but the shower curtain doesn't reach the floor ( at least that cleaned the floor a bit !)
  
Breakfast was served in the restaurant, @ 25 dhms a head, a basic Moroccan breakfast of croissant , orange juice, coffee( very weak) and bread and honey and jam.

  At the equivalent of €35 a night it was a convenient place to view the area...and despite all the shortcomings, this hotel is probably the best in Sidi......



Hotel Safa, 

The hotel is located close to super market which is handy if you want to do a last minute shopping. The neighborhoos is upscale. Room was large , bed comfortable with plazma and sat channels. There is also A/C  which was not needed. No tub but shower with hot water. The downside was the noise from the nearby lighthouse.  It was like someone was beating drums all night.If you re a light sleeper ask for a room which doesnt overlook the sea
Breakfast was coffee or tea with croissants bread  butter and jam and orange juice Nothing fancy but very filling
All in all it was worth the price
