I spent two nights at this lovely guesthouse in January of this year and it was a very enjoyable experience.Located in the centre of Tafraoute it is very convenient to cafes and restaurants.My room was large and very comfortable.Breakfast on the verandah each morning was top class.The staff were super friendly and in this regard I want to mention Khadija especially and also Zacharia and Hamid.Khadija was kind enough to help me organise a tour of Ait Mansour Gorge and other local attractions for the following day.This is an authentic Moroccan guesthouse and I am happy to recommend it highly.

Had a one night stop over here (before getting bus next day to Marrakech) VERY friendly host who offered us a room at 8am having arrived from Tiouadoa by the 6 am public mini bus. Lovely terrace for breakfast and relaxing, overlooking the town centre (which was pretty quiet for a town) Nice bed and attractive room.Happy to recommend and would stay again.

I'm sure you've already read about Moroccan's great hostility and unbelieveable helpful approach with smile on face many times. But If you want to experience this for real, this hotel should be your clear choice. 

It is always a great staff who makes a hotel one great place. It is the personnel that makes you feel during you accomodation fabulous and experience becomes unforgetable. 

Jamal - one amazing, English speaking man working in the hotel. This person welcomes you at reception so nicely as anywhere else. He smiles, thinks positively and is always open to help you, to give you the best possible advices. You can hardly find more helpful person in surrounding.

When you eat a delicious breakfast, you feel it was prepared with love. Fresh fruit served on a plate is something special. It is prepared so nicely, in shape of sun. He will wait you in front of the hotel till you are back from you trip, just to ask you what time you would wish to have a brakfast next mornig. 

Also a cleaning lady and another guy in the hotel is very nice. 

If a hotel is for you not only about a place for sleeping, but also a place where you are looking for a nice person you can speak with, have nice conversations about everything this is a place where you want to be. 

Jamal is an exceptional person. It must be a pleasure for a boss to have such amazing people in the team. 

I came to Tafroute just for 2 days, but spent there almost a week. This guy was one of main reasons.

Great accomodation with exceptional staff - WARMLY RECOMMENDED

We arrived late and needed a place to stay. A local recommended Les Amis and it turned out to be better that described. We quickly got a nice room and everything was sorted. Really nice place and super friendly staff.

Hamid the owner  is a great host and a awesome person,always giving us a smile that making us feel welcome. The location is perfect, Nice and Clean rooms very quiet, Excelent relation price/quality. I highly recommend.

Excelent Budget prices

Got back to sunny Scotland from Tafraoute yesterday. Day before I'd emerged from a (classic) Jebel el Kest mountain trek onto a main road too late to get transport back to Les Amis, collect my non-trekking kit from the hotel and catch the last possible bus to connect with my flight. Hitch hiking wasn't working.

I would have missed that flight if Ahmed hadn't thought to get my kit onto a bus going my (out of the) way that I could connect with further down the road and get en route to Agadir. That intelligent help saved me a pile of money and hassle.

and yeah, he makes a magic breakfast too!
