Positive: Clean. Nice views. Alcohol. Food was flavourful enough. 

Less positive : pool access through parking lot. Pool was quite milky looking and the filtration was only turned on when we arrived. Opted not to swim.
Breakfast was all carb.

Underwhelmed but slim pickings in this area.

I recently completed a 17 business trip to Tafraout, Morocco. My stay in Tafraoit was exceptional. The location is amazing and offers amazing views of both sunrise and sunsets. The staff is second to none and they actively looked for opportunities to enhance our stay. I even left my wedding ring in my room and the staff was gracious enough to search my room, and then drive the ring all the way to Agadir. Needless to say if and when I return I will be staying at Hôtel Les Amandiers.

Amazing Accommodations and Service

Excellent accomodations. The staff went above and beyond for us and were extremely hospitable. The food was delicious and varied. The view of Tafraout from the pool deck was really cool. Highly recommend!
Also, the driveway is great for hill repeats if you are a runner and want to get in shape for an upcoming race haha.

Fantastic

Loved my time here. Incredible location and people who aim to serve you at every turn. The variety of amazing, authentic Moroccan food was a delight. The perched location on the hill gives you an amazing view of the city and perspective of the rugged beauty of Tafraoute.

Incredible place and people

I was very pleased with the accommodations. Our trip was made more special by the attentive, friendly staff as well as the delicious food. Swimming, poolside lounge, walking distance into town, local transportation, bicycle and scooter rentals close by make this a must choose hotel. Whether you are hiking, climbing, shopping or taking in the local atmosphere. Don’t forget to visit the Blue Rocks.

Awesome experience!

We went to this hotel for 4 days to relax after several weeks of continuous travelling and it didn't disappoint.  It's true that the fixtures and fittings are dated and tired but they are perfectly adequate.  They are updating some of the rooms and they are going to be fabulous.  The staff were great and food was good too.  It was so nice to be able to have a drink with your meal.  We had a room with a balcony that faced the sunset and we really enjoyed just sitting and watching the evening develop.  It's only a short walk into town and the area more than warrants an extended stay. We would definitely go back.

Dated elegance

Staff were very good in this hotel which does look very tired but Tafraoute is not yet a major tourist destination so you have to adjust your expectations.  Main issue was lack of any really hot water but otherwise it was fine.

Decent hotel trying hard

This was apparently one of the better hotels in small town of Tafraout. It was ok although the service was very slow. Rooms were comfortable, Short walk into town down a steep slope, so important to have flashlight or phone torch if coming back after dark.

The hotel is conveniently located and quiet.
The beds are comfortable and facilities basic but clean. Service is hit and miss. We were charged 120 dona for a beer and water 1 night and 30 dona the next!
The showers are only luke warm at best but the restaurant food is good with very large portions


Basic but Comfortable

We stayed one night and arrived late. The friendly staff stayed and served dinner late.  Friendly people.  Rooms tired and in need of renovation.  What once was the best hotel in town is slowly sliding into disrepair.  Nice bar and restaurant.  Pool is horrible with way too much chlorine.  Safe parking and free wifi.  OK for a night.
