Although this hotel is in a great position above the public beach, it can be very noisy until 2am. 
The hotel is probably reasonable value compared to the larger chains but you get very little other than a bed and shower room. There is no aircon so cooling is achieved by leaving the room door open onto a public balcony which is not secure.
There were no services such as soap, drinking water or cold drinks available. There was no storage just 4 pegs on the wall. The toilet/shower room  needed a good clean but  at least the water was hot.
Some lights in the room didn’t work.
Visitors with mobility problems would find the stairs very steep and without handrails on 2/3 floors which is dangerous.
Room security was poor as it was obvious the door lock had been forced and poorly repaired.

Don’t stay here if you want a good nights sleep or can’t manage steep stairs!

Great location directly on the fisherman's beach. Warm welcome and delightful staff- very helpful and friendly. Restaurant here remains closed bit there is a place next door that serves a fab breakfast. They donoffer to deliver a breakfast to your room bit this is poor quality when compared to what is available next door. Simple accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Great views. Only downside- the tractor 🚜  that takes the little fishing boats to the sea cranks up early morning ! 

Fab location. A great place to stay. 

I feel this is a bit of a “best kept secret” in Taghazout. The hotel is right on the beach and perfectly positioned to walk north or south along the beach every sunrise and sunsets there’s a common terrace on the top floor with a gorgeous view and the bedrooms are a great size for two people. The best thing about this hotel is the management staff. Khalid and zak where incredible hosts and took amazing care of me. I couldn’t rave about them enough is sorting everything out for me. I was so grateful to stay here and would only stay here when I go back 😊

Incredible 

The venue we would say is nothing like that described in the pictures. The room was dirty, hair on the floor, sand in the shower, bed sheets looked used. It was embarrassing. Around the property was like walking through a building site. We actually checked out within an hour after going for lunch and getting attacked by flies close by. We preferred to sacrifice a night payment than stay there. In a word- disgusting throughout. We would rate 0/10. Not true to other reviews or pictures. The receptionist was friendly.

This is more of a backpacking hostel than a hotel and did not live up to our expectations at all, especially as it's not the cheapest place. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, the sheets on the bed were ripped, there were no towels provided and the staff, whilst I'm sure they meant well, seemed inexperienced and young. The breakfast was poor with instant coffee and supermarket food - for the same price, just next door, you can get home made Moroccan style breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh espresso. Deeply disappointing. The auberge is also situated in a very noisy location and not all rooms have air conditioning so it was hard to sleep. We ended up leaving a day early just to get a good nights sleep.

Wouldn't recommend - there are better places nearby. Expensive for what it was and not good value for money

The staff are fantastic, always giving a high standard of service with a smile. 
The place inside is very clean, and again the lady cleaner is very friendly, and does a superb laundry service.
We had a great 5 night stay, and witnessed world championship surfing.


Great staff

The yoga view is stunning, the rooftop is intimate, and with a panoramic view. The location is so convenient, right in the centre, close to the shops, surf shops for board rental, and everything else you need... The value of this place is great, it has all the qualities of the expensive retreats, at half the price. Very very good wifi.

Best Value Yoga & Surf Spot in centre of tagazhout!

I have wanted to stay here for some time but it has never happened  wje  I visited in June the restaurant  had not re opened post covd and I had assumed the whole place was closed. BUT then I discovered the bedrooms were still available to book on line and immediately booked for a couple of nights in November, travelling from Agadir. 
Not particularly attractive from the outside- restaurant terrace have ivergrown foliage and entrance to hotel not very visible. 
It is in a perfect location- directly opposite Fisherman's beach and with great views from  my room, the lounge and terraces . Many restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. So , whilst you can't get breakfast  here anymore, there are options  very close by. 
Rooms have had a full refurb and generally have been fitted out to a high quality . However they havent replaced  the towels and my white bath towel was old and decidedly grey. Pillows also old. Bedding g was white and fresh. Spotlessly clean. 
Lighting in room was notable but all bulbs too bright. Very stylish and 5 different permutations of lighting  available . Ensuite shower was a small wet room. Tiles and rainforest shower were FAB.
The views from the lounge and terrace are amazing. Great sunsets being  west coast of Africa. 
A couple  of attention to detail points- my room had obviously  even extanded at the front as they has left the curtain pole fixings up from a smaller entrance. The mirror above sink was help up by cellotape- see photos. The other issue was that whilst the double patio door entrance to my room was great in that it let in lots of light and opened the room up- it had a reflective film on the outside to prevent the room overheating from sun. However at night- when you put on amy lights in the room, it became a lit up goldfish bowl ! 
Having checked my reservation on line just a few days before arrival, I very nearly didn't come- I had not noticed that room dimensions were tiny and no ensuite facilities. I had completely overlooked this in my eagerness to stay here. I had booked a not cancellable room rate ! So I decided to go and possibly stay just one night. HOWEVER  when I arrived all my concerns were dispelled . A very warm welcome. A refurbished room which exceeded expectations in size, decor and facilities. I stayed for the 2 nights and really enjoyed it. I will return. It exceeded my expectations so and is very worthy of a 5 star review. 

Perfect location. Delightful hosts. 

We stayed a week here for a sun and surf retreat, and could not have chosen somewhere better to stay. Hussain and the other hosts were incredible, always on hand to help out and make us feel so so welcome! The rooms are STUNNING leading right onto a seafront terrace, and the hotel itself is perfect location for beaches, restaurants, and bars. 

The hosts are really good at guiding you around and recommending places to see. They’ve also organized so much for us, everything from surfing hire to where to eat to activities to parking!

The place has an amazing hosting zone, friendly vibe, is super clean and well run. Plus they organized a few traditional meals for us.

Absolute must-stay

Great location steps to the ocean. Very relaxing terrace with scenic views.  Friendly and helpful staff. Yummy breakfast with a variety of bread, yogurt, fruits, jams, moroccan pancakes and eggs. Rooms were clean and comfortable.  Great value for the location!
