We had a free day in Taroudant so our Riad host suggested a trip out to Tiout to see the kasbah and oasis.  What a lovely place and well worth a visit. Great local guide who then suggested we eat at Oasis de Tiout. This is a real hidden gem - lovely family run auberge and the tagine and couscous were delicious. Best bread I have eaten in Morocco! Lovely jubbly!!

Scrumptious food 

We just spent an amazing afternoon at the oasis. It is very calm, traditionally decorated, the food is AMAZING, the scenery breathtaking, the view incredible. We ate a delicious tajine, tea and cookies, and plate of fruit. All food is home cooked and fresh. Mr. Ahmed and his family are very welcoming, warm-hearted and knowledgeable about the region. Totally recommend this place, you won't regret it 
You should definitely check it if you are in Agadir or Taroudant

The BEST address in town

A beautiful wooden door in an inconspicuous wall. That’s all you see from the outside. We would never have guessed there was an oasis of authentic hospitality behind it. 
We had a delicious lunch with tajine, couscous, fruits, tea and cookies served by the whole family. Outside the sun was burning, inside we sat in the fresh interior garden, enjoying the food, friendliness and expert stories and explanations about the Tiout Oasis and everyday life.
The whole village lives on the produce they cultivate in the cooperatively run oasis. Fresh water flows trough it, coming strait from te mountains, creating this patch of green in an otherwise dry but beautiful landscape. 
A visit to remember.

Eat like a local and enjoy being at home

Ahmed, Malika and their lovely children all work very hard to make their home a beautiful and welcoming place for tourists. The vegetables and fruits are all picked locally and Malika cooked tagines with deliciously fragrant fresh herbs. What a beautiful and peaceful place to restore one’s soul!

Most friendly family

There we tasted best foods and had the most interesting tours throughout the oasis. Very recommend to anyone close by. It definitely worth visiting from Agadir. We planned to stay for one but ended up staying more since all of us were happy because of the experience.
