I'm sorry to give you such a negative review because Said and his family were so nice, but the structure is very dirty, stuffed with dirty mattresses, completely refurbished, and besides, the price is not even that low and there's no one checking the rooms, you feel less safe.

It's very dirty.

Excellent place to use as a base to explore the town of Taroudant and surrounding mountains. Said is very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is clean, cozy, the rooftop is very nice. I'll be back if I'm in the neighborhood :)

Cosy hotel

Our host spotted us on the street when we tried to park our car, helped us with the bags and Led us yo our room. Some may call it basic, but if you need good bed, hot water, nice breakfast and very obliging and friendly host, this is your place! It's 10 minutes walk from the city walls, next to the mosque and has lovely garden on the roof when you can chill after busy day. Recommend :) 

Good budget place, fantastic roof garden and kind host

I had the good fortune to stay at the Hotel Les Amis in a Taroudant area during my stay in Morocco. The place is beautifully decorated, the rooms have a more than comfortable bed and you will enjoy the charm of the terrace with the bucolic aspects. Essaid has been especially available to meet all my requests. For 120dh per night it is an excellent quality price ratio! I will be back 😊

That's great.

The hotel is clean, cool and comfortable. My bedroom was a bit basic, but had everything I needed (but I am pretty low maintenance)  The breakfast is absolutely delicious and is served on the terrace. I rarely finished it and I eat for England.

The owner, Said, speaks excellent English and is charming. He is also a qualified mountain guide and I ended up doing a 2 day hike into the Atlas with him and a Swiss couple from the hotel. This hike was the highlight of my trip and I highly recommend it - we stayed with an elderly couple in a berber village and were treated with such kindness and amazing food. You will need good boots though!

Beautiful roof terrace and delightful owner.

We can sleep in this hostel even if we are awakened by the call to prayer. The sanitation is very poor. But don't take Said as a guide. I had the misfortune to ask him. He left with half a bottle of water and lost us and put us in DANGER: more than 5 hours of walking (climbing) with the risk of falling into the odes. Only our physical condition allowed us to get out of there. Said asked me to pay 100 euros before departure of course and of course refuses to pay back.

Be careful.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the owner spotted me in the street with my bags (on arrival) so gave me a lift to the property. He was helpful and gave me recommendations. He was friendly and made good conversation. My room (double room) was clean, the bed was comfortable. Wifi was better than most places I had stayed in Morocco. The breakfast (on the roof terrace) was tasty & left my stomach satisfied. The property is a short walk away from the centre, also 30 minutes walking distance from the bus station/taxi rank.

Located outside the walls is ten minutes' walk from the centre easy access public parking in front of the hotel nice reception good quality price ratio breakfast is taken on the terrace located at 3 eme good relaxed atmosphere

It's a good place.

Highway very noisy mosque against the house but also soccer field and schools the boss adds unjustified fees very hard bed only the price is interesting but you will spend a very bad night addressing disadvantage a 20 minute walk from the center and nothing to do around

Very noisy and not very honest

Very nice interior. Beautiful terrace. The rooms are large and clean and cozy. The outside sanitary facilities are impeccable. The hostel is outside the walls but it takes only 5 minutes to walk to a door. Said, the manager is very friendly. The breakfast included is copious. Very good price ratio. I recommend this address.
