Traveling usually takes a bit of effort, especially if you like to explore things or even adapt to new circumstances, so I really appreciate the good accommodation, which has always been associated with an atmosphere of sincere hospitality for me. This is exactly what I found in Dar Randigaba! Moroccan house with a great host who is able to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is very free, artistic and cozy. Although I was a solo traveller, I found the area quite safe to walk even in the evening. I really enjoyed the morning coffee and the evening jazzy sounds on a rooftop terrace! And of course, Said makes probably the best coffee in the town! Overall it was a great stay and I hope to be back!

Very homey and charming!

Dar Randigaba, 140 Rue Chef Aziz , 83000 Taroudant, Morocco, is an unqualified gem. Neat, spotless, warm and cozy. The thick walls keep the place cool in the summer heat. The place is run by Said, one of the most charming and helpful hosts you are likely to ever meet on your travels. Other reviewers lavish praise on Said and Dar Randigaba - and I concur.  He speaks fluent English. He provides help and advice on request, and he is generous and resteptful. I became brutally ill with a stomach bug. Said went to the Souk and bought for me a root-based potion that he said would have me eating lunch within a sort time. It worked. It is a great place to stay.

AN UNQUALIFIED GEM

This is a charming, bohemian B & B,  Decor is utterly Moroccan, but with modern western bathroom facilitates and a lovely Kitchen that guests can use.  I love the roof top terrace, the communal sitting area but especially the homely, relaxed feeling of the place. (and an excellent breakfast)
Music lovers will like the collection of vinyl, mostly jazz, soul and blues - awesome.
A great place to chill, on the outskirts of the city but near one of the main gates.  The owner, Said has excellent English and a very interesting character, will sit and chat, if you like or leave you to chill. I plan to return some day with my other daughters to see this city and wouldn't stay anywhere else.  Ask Said about where to eat as he knows the good places, and try some of his teas and infusions - they're delicious.

Home from Home Morocco Style

Saïd is a great host. Very nice music collection. Nice Roig terrace.
Ir is perfect if your coming by car as the house it's just outside the city walls.
 Gave  us many tips and advises d'or the test of our trip to the south.

Good accomodation

I spent two nights during a quiet time in a single room at Dar Randigaba. There's ample common space with a nice terrace on top. It's surely a relaxed place to meet other travellers. Wifi was very strong and breakfast was great. Fatima, who ran the place while her brother was away on a trip, was a great host. I really enjoyed chatting with her over tea about life in Morocco. She recommended to visit the oasis of Tioute, which was a nice half-day trip, but did not have much information about trekking in the mountains. The Lonely Planet had lead me to believe that Taroudannt would be a good base for trekking day trips, but they did not seem to be all that easy to organise there.

When all is Perfect......the owner makes a good job!

I'm not sure what the this person below is talking about Randi is amazing. His house is beautiful Moroccan place with 60's Rock fusion. Unique art on the walls, record player with GREAT music collection, collection of books (English) and roof top terrace. It's in the perfect part of town for us as you can park the car and it's a 30sec walk into the busy castle walls. Randi takes us around town for food and company all free and out of friendship. Has a warming south London accent and undoubtedly the most stylish man in Morocco...
