There is a lot to like about Hotel Kasbah Lamrani:

- the pool was really enjoyable
- the service was super friendly and helpful - some of the nicest staff I met in Morocco
- the layout and decor of the hotel is nice
- dinner and breakfast at the hotel was good

However, the hotel ran out of water while we were there (apparently an issue with the pipes) and unfortunately I can't get around that. In 13 nights in Morocco this was the only hotel I encountered that ran out out of water and that made for a very stressful situation (no showers! no running water in the toilets!).  We were forced to cancel one night and move to another hotel in the area.

If the owners of this hotel can just solve the water issue this will be a great hotel.

Fix the water issues and this will be a great hotel

We drove up looking for a place to eat a nice dinner in Tinghir. Despite suffering the economic impact of COVID and not having a chef on hand, the owner told us he could serve us a simple meal of soup, salad, brochettes, and fruit. We had a lovely meal with wine in the garden next to the pool, and the staff were so gracious and accommodating. Given the impact of COVID on the tourism industry in Tinghir more broadly, we were so grateful to find one that was willing to serve us. Truly above and beyond service in a challenging time. Thank you!

Above and beyond during COVID

I know that in some remote areas there are limited access to luxury hotels and you have to make sacrifices, however, I don't think asking for running water is asking too much. I stayed here with a large group and we all had issues ranging from no running water in the bathroom (and when they tried to fix it all water running to the rooms was shut off without notification or apology) to roaches in the towels. The hotel actually ran out of towels at one points and requested that we reuse our old ones. 
I will say that the food in the restaurant was surprisingly good despite the other lacking of the hotel.

Unsatsified

Avoid this hotel.  I had made a reservation months in advanceat this hotel on Hotels.com.  I had a confirmation from Hotels.com and a reminder of my upcoming reservation.  However, the hotel tried to call me the  day of my reservation to cancel, although we were on the road and didn't get the message.  No rooms when we showed up with our friends.  Their excuse was that they only received the reservations that same day.  If that were the case, they failed to check with Hotels.com or should stop using that service to advertize.  

They did find us a room at a nearl by Hotel Bougafer which was much nicer.

Canceled at the last minute

We had a large group eat lunch at this hotel restaurant and the overall experience was average.  We had Turkey, rice, vegetables, bread and fresh fruit 
Overall the food was good. However, the flies were bothering you the entire time we were eating our meal in the outside patio. The service was a little slow at times!  The staff were friendly.  But not very attentive.  My recommendation is eat inside.

Was there with some friends, and even tho we had booked months in advance we were told that there were no rooms available for us and that they would be moving us to a cheaper hotel with no refund or compensation on the price.
After we refused this option we were placed in a 4 bed room even tho we hsd booked 2 doubles. Thus was also a cheaper price that we were also not refunded or compensated for.
After asking for the manager to try resolve the issue we were told he would be there to talk to us within a half hour but we waited more than 2 hours and still never got to talk with him.
That was just the first day and the problems, excuses, and bad service continued from there on. 
If you are looking for a fancier place in Tinghir this is not it. The bathrooms were not clean an the staff doesn't care for anything. 
Would highly recommend you try another hotel. If there was an option for no stars here that would be a more deserved rating

We passed a great time in the kasbah . Nourrddine and all the staff were so helpful . Also good food and WiFi . Clean rooms and good atmosphere inside the hotel . Highly recommended

Great experience 

Well done up but a few small things could make it much better- better mattresses, room heating, a room tea maker, better breakfast and dinner. Decor is good service too but overall a disappointment. Probably came in off season period

Could be better

Staff was attentive and responsive beyond the call of duty but they were always having to make up for a property that has been poorly maintained. Broken shower, broken toilet, and so on.

Be aware that they cater primarily to  us tours. The plus for independent travelers: both breakfast and dinner are included with the room. The minus: always a fixed menu. Be sure to make it to breakfast well before the 10 a.m. end; if they think everyone has eaten they may shut down early. Twice, however,  they brought meals to our room at no extra cbarge--including a delicious off-menu dinner!

Superb Staff at an Elegant Property Past Its Prime 

We were really surprised that the facilities in this hotel were really good. WiFi, aircon in the rooms. Nice bathroom. Comfy beds. Friendly staff and good food. The pool area was fabulous. The lack of lift was not a problem as there were staff on call to help with the luggage.
