We stayed for one night at the farmhouse and wish we had stayed longer. The family and the young man who looked after us were so attentive and genuinely welcoming. We had an excellent home cooked meal and the lady of the house shared a recipe with me for an amazing tamarind sauce, even giving me some fresh tamarind to take home to try. Our room was clean and comfortable.  The view, over the garden full of produce for the meals, was stunning. So peaceful and quiet. Pindaya close by was a beautiful and interesting place to visit. We wished we had stayed longer.

Genuine welcome

It’s a really family nice comfortable countryside house.
Not fashion but really countrified place, cottage style.
I think it’s perfect for this area to stay in.
The people here was very helpful and nice.
Very convenient to visit the area.



Peaceful nice place! 

I had a great experience staying a couple of nights in Pindaya Farm house.
The house is just a few km from town and the famous caves.
It is in a beautiful country setting with a pleasant garden and beautiful Bayan trees nearby.
The family that runs the hotel is incredible nice and friendly and they will do anything to make your stay pleasant.
They did help me a lot as I was unwell with a very bad cough.
I would definitely recommend to stay here if you are looking for an authentic but comfortable enough experience in Myanmar.
People in this area are still very nice and truly open to welcome you.
Be aware that there is no heating in the rooms and in winter can be quite chilly at night.
In the leaving/dining there will be a nice fire at night.

See the authentic face of Myanmar

We booked our stay last minute, and were very pleasantly surprised. The house is set is lovely countryside, with views from the veranda over the farmland and distant mountains. A very peaceful place to enjoy afternoon sun and a whisky sour. The rooms are clean and to my relief my shower was warm. The people working here are lovely and helpful. We ate tasty fresh food in the evening and also met the family.

Perfect Stay

This is our second time to stay in Pindaya Firm House with family. This time we stayed 2 nights.The staff and the owner “Ma Aye Aye” are super helpful.All of the food are very delicious and well prepared.Pindaya Farm House is one of my favorite place and highly recommended place to visit.

Lovely Place

We stayed with Ma Aye Aye and her family for one night before going for a trek. We immediately felt at home, the place is beautiful: modern, clean and offers stunning views on the Shan country side. Ma Aye Aye grows her own food and can help facilitate a trek (with her brother who I highly recommend as well). 

A home away from home

It is a quiet and nice place to chill here. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast is also good and can get transitional shan breakfast . It is all about nature . But, far a little bit from pindaya township areas

Good Place

We had booked via trailfinders and exo travel. When we arrived they had forgotten our booking! There was no-one there to meet us, they denied all knowledge of our booking! Fortunately our tour guard was there to sort the mess out.
We waited over 2 hours for the owner to show up. In the end we went looking for someone to find out about dinner ect. 
There was no hot water not even a kettle! The views were lovely but it is so very basic I would suggest u reconsider.
