Really relaxing stay. We were there for three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed every day. The staff were super attentive and very friendly and served an excellent buffet breakfast. The rooms were spacious and well serviced. The location was also perfect being close to the beach and near several restaurants serving superb sea food dishes. 
Exceptional value for money.  Would definitely recommend the Villager Lodge.

All round excellent.

This little gem is perfectly located on Ngapali beach. Not far form the airport and from restaurants and shops.
The beach is just across the road. They rent ebikes at good prices.
The rooms are really nice, clean and comfortable. Its quiet and the well decorated. The breakfast in the garden in delicious and varied.
The best point is definitely the staff. They are all super nice and helpful. You really get a 4 star service for a very good price.
I highly recommend this place. 

Best hotel of my myanmar vacation

Stayed 5 nights in December. The room was cozy and well cleaned. The staff is very friendly and always at reception for help. The sofas and chairs at the front and breakfast at the bamboo garden behind provide you extra space to relax. Guests seemed to enjoy those spaces very much. The hotel provides tea and coffee there as well as in the room. The Ngapali beach is just 2 minutes walk from the lodge and the hotel provides sun chairs at the beach as well.  The sunset and morning walk was splendid. There are some reasonable seafood restaurants for both foreigners and locals. I did not have difficulty to find place for everyday meals. It's only 5 minutes from the airport by a taxi or cyclo. Highly recommended.

Nice room and friendly staff

That lodge is most suitable to people who loves to chill in unique compound area,cute rooms ,warm servers, clean garden, relax atmosphere breakfast place.Near by beach but not at the beach side, you can reach to beach by 2 minutes walking from property.BBQ restaurants and beer pubs were surrounding of this lodge so you may get the taste of beach city vibes.

Quiet  and nice to chill in !

we stayed at TVL unfortunately only for 2 nights and we got a triple room on the first floor. very big and clean. tiled and white sheets. 

PROS:
- location is quiet and 1-2 mins from a long stretch of sandy beach.
- restaurants and local shops just around the corner.
- great breakfast with fantastic eggs and non-sweetened bread. 
- super cosy breakfast area in between some trees.
- very nicely decorated lodge.
- friendly and english speaking.
- flexible as they let us check in very early in the morning.
- complimentary water, coffee and tea.
- clean, white sheets.
- room service daily.
- a lot to choose from for things-to-do.
- nice chill out area in front of the reception.
- scooter rental.
- bicycle rental.
- enough place to hang your wet stuff in the room and on the balcony.
- fridge in the room.

CONS: thatswhy ony 4 out of 5!
- the shower was very lame and it took quite some time to get yourself washed.
- i VERY DISLIKED the blue chemical water flushing down the toilet. this should be forbidden due to a lack of recycling possibilities. put some sticks into an oil incense to avoid eventual bad smell.
- instead of serving new plastic bottles every day offer guests to refill their bottles with a sign "save the environment and refill your bottles HERE!" so they do not tend to grab a new bottle every day! at the end myanmar end up with all the rubbish and as we know just burning it is not the right solution.

in general this was one of our favourite hostels / hotels / guesthouses - if not the most favourite one during our stay in myanmar. great value for money and definitely recommended!! enjoy your stay! it's lovely there.

COSY ATMOSPHERE. GREAT BREAKFAST. CLEAN. FLEXIBLE.

I wouldn’t call this a nice hotel. While it was overall satisfactory, I can’t say that we particularly enjoyed staying there. 

The beach seating was severely uncomfortable. The breakfast consisted of toast eggs, Coffee and juice. It was comparable to a Hotel Six, or a Holiday Inn Express. 

Furthermore, we found it annoying that the owner and receptionist watched over us like a hawk. The hotel failed to feel cozy and romantic and the bed was uncomfortable and extremely creaky.

On the plus side, they have free tea and coffee 24/7, and they gave us free sea shell necklaces, although free gifts seem to be normalized in Ngapali and not particularly exceptional.
