Stephanie and her family is just a remarkable host out of this wonderful place by one of the greatest landscape I’ve seen.
The facilities are complete, foods are great, room is comfortable (despite a bit old). Price is definitely competitive.
Eagle’s nest is one of the best ever dinner place without doubt.

Just one feedback that the floor managers are not so costumer oriented. The lady in charge for restaurant on 26 dec was saying we could not go for 2nd time in Eagle’s nest because it was fully booked, that we need to pay 100 extra (as if it would be issue for us), and that we have done it on first night.
It would be okay to understand if explained properly but the way she responded to the request was definitely not pleasant.
I had to insist that the choice where to have dinner is on my side, especially as we asked already. So briefings to them will be recommended to ensure experience is 100% amazing

Must visit

This area is amazing - the scenery is stunning. A bit of a wind down from our recent boat trip and dune drive. We had a nice walk up to "the finger." We also made a reservation from the UK for the Eagles Nest restaurant. This was a truly magical experience. We also undertook one of the lodges expeditions to see some local roack paintings. The staff were lovely.

First visited 25 years ago, and it is still one of my favourite places to stay. It has grown, but the chalets are spread out nicely, ours with a view of a waterhole, with air conditioning and mosquito nets. There are lots of communal areas, including a place to watch the sunset and also Vingerklip itself. 2 pools and 2 restaurants, one called Eagles Nest and on top of a cliff with amazing views and food (cooked by the lovely Eve). Friendly staff and a lovely location. The food was also amazing. With current exchange rates, the prices are also a bargain

Fabulous Namibia

Absolutely stunning and amazing surroundings. The staff is very friendly, helpful ànd professional." Don' t stand up to get your coffee from the buffet, you will be served with a smile straight away where you are sitting 😊.  We were staying only one night 😔.. I could have stayed a month or even more. Unfortunately it didn't rain while we were there. Absolutely necessary for the people living in dry conditions and their livestock and wild animals. . We thought we could bring them the rain.. and the owner promised us one of his bottles of wine 😇. Shame it didn't, so definitely we have to go back.

A visit to the Moon

It was very pleasant to stay 2 nights in Vingerklip Lodge. The staff and owners are really helpful and friendly and the food (breakfast, lunch, diner) was amazing. The lodge is located in a very beatiful area close to the Vingerklip rock and other impressive mountains. 

The unique selling point is the Eagle's Nest and the honeymoon suite (we regret that we did not book this suite). Wow! We had to walk 15 minutes up. First a path, then metal stairs. The sun was shining and it was raining. The views from the mountain were amazing. We had dinner at the Eagle's Nest, with three other couples/families. This was really special. The service and food was outstanding.

This was the best lodge during our 3 weeks road trip

just excellent, the surroundings, the architecture of the lodge, the roms, the restaurant on top with sundown, great food, nice and friendly service, complimentary coffee/tea and cake, we enjoyed it all, justl great ! Please visit them and enjoy their excellent lodge

One of the nicest lodges we stayed at in Namibia

Stunning location, really lovely friendly owners. All the staff were super helpful . Really lovely rooms with gorgeous views from the patio. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. Pool areas are beautiful too. Staying here was the highlight of our 3 week roadtrip in Namibia. Highly recommended and we would definitely visit again when we next come to the area.

Set on top of the Ugab Terraces, this was a great start to our Namibian trip  -  dining in the Eagles Nest restaurant is a must but ensure you book and be warned there are 200+ steps to get up there… but well worth it as the views are incredible. This is a lovely lodge and the staff were so polite and helpful - we enjoyed it, particularly some of the walks including one to the Vingerklip rock itself!

Eagles nest is the perfect place for a great dinner and the waiter a comedian besides doing a very good job. It was definitely the place on the whole trip to Namibia
