I Namibia for business, decided to treat friends to a spa day, booked treatments for the girls. Let me start by saying a huge thanks to Teresa the spa therapist, she is simply the only light for this establishment, friendly, engaging totally wasted at this hotel. A 5 star establishment would be lucky to have her for sure.  

The hotel reception staff unorganized and not welcoming at all. 
We ordered drinks from the bar upstairs after our treatments and waited so long we gave up .  Just so disappointed in our experience asked to see the Manager Tesa Scot but was told she is not in , hotel owners apparently in Windhoek , no one at reception could tell me their names.

A let down

goo customer service in most aspects, the only improvement i would recomend is to introduce meg glass cups at the bar which is on the ground to minimise the movements of bar ladies and gentleman when a customer prefere something which is not provided on the ground bar.

Excellent service delivery from well trained staff at a reasonable cost. I have enjoyed my stay the few days I stayed at Seaside Hotel. I liked the variety offered during breakfast. Looking forward for another visit

the suite I stayed in was great, clean very clean linen very good bed to sleep on, block-out curtains which are good when you sleep, and an awesome sea view.  the only sound you get was the soothing sound of the sea waves. I only had breakfast there and it was of a great standard.  the SPA is a plus to the experience I had and not to talk about the friendly and helpful staff members you have. I enjoyed my stay! keep it up!

If you're travelling alone and looking for a quiet and cosy getaway look no further. The staff at seaside hotel are super warm and friendly and always ready with a huge smile. The front desk bent over backwards when I made an impromptu request to do the catamaran dolphin cruise and dune safari at 06h30 in the morning! From reliable and reasonable taxi services to making me feel safe and at home - this team is definitely for the win!
The pubs are a little further away than the other hotel's but the taxi services ($50.00 one way) are always ready and waiting to deliver. What a lovely town! Thank you seaside staff.
Only request/suggestion is to hang hooks at the jacuzzi, & sauna area for our robes and towels please :)

Albert's review of Seaside Hotel in Sawkomund, Namibia.

Swakopmund is a beautiful city and a very friendly weather. The people in the city are also very friendly and warm people. The staff of Seaside are also very helpful and very polite.

The rooms were nice for family and friends. For couples that want to enjoy each other it should be an experience thus please do special treats. This includes the breakfast that can be improved like for people to have good memories together.

We came for a wedding so reception food was tops. 

Please do buffet breakfast after hosting wedding guest.

I have enjoyed everything else except for the fact that no housekeeping was done in my room ; a staff told me to just use the other bed since I was alone in the room but for me cleaning was supposed to be a must esp provided that we are still under the COVID 19  pandemic . I had to beg for a toilet paper and that makes my experience at the hotel horrible!!

My stay at Seaside Hotel

We traveled  to Sea Side Side Hotel & Spa Swakopmund for a business meeting, and every thing was wonderful. The friendly staff,conference hall is perfect with all needed appliance, the rooms are awesome, the Jacuzzi. It was a remarkable stay indeed.
