What I liked 
The location was just at the edge of the centre.
My room was ok . 
The WiFi was working

What I didn't like : 
1. It was cold and I got 1 extra blanket 
2. No TV in the room 
3. They put me in a single room but I had booked a double. She even asked me do I need a double ? 
4. The so called continental breakfast wasn't that nice , without eggs or sausage. 
5. No lotion in the room 
6. The shower was flooding 
7. The place was literally empty but I was tucked away into some far away room as I was being hidden. 

VillaWiese didn't live Up to the hype 

Our family were staying at Villa Wiese as part of our Southern Africa family tour and enjoyed our stay here very much. Good beds, clean rooms, terrific breakfast and friendly, helpful staf. The store in villa Wiese sells very good bread. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very good hotel in Swakopmund

Stayed here a couple of nights and would have been happy to stay longer.  Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, and some of the best breakfasts I've ever had.  The room was spacious and comfortable.

I enjoyed staying at Villa Wiese. However, I would like to have a bar fridge in room next time. Also consider putting in aircon in the corner rooms? Not much ventilation in my room, despite there being a window. Either than that, Marichen was the best, friendly, helpful and just amazing lady. Thank you.

Quiet area for solo travelers, loved it.

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay,lovely room and very clean and difinently friendly staff and secure parking for the vehicle. Breakfast was amazing and delicious and well set up difinently we coming back soon again😃

Amazing stay, thank you so much for Your good service. Room very nice and clean. I will definitely go back. Thanks for the fishing trip You arranged for me, I enjoyed every moment of it. Quad biking on the sand dunes is something I will never forget 

Amazing 

The rooms are nice and each has its own bathroom. There are tea and coffee facilities in reception which can be accessed at any time.The lodge is a little way out of the centre but the walk isn't too bad. Swakopmund itself is a little strange after travelling through the rest of Southern Africa.

Nice backpackers, comfortable and ok facilities

We were booked into this lodge by the other we were staying at which was fully booked for the second night. First impressions were that the place was quite nice as the main building is rustic looking and quite beautful, like a cosy cabin, but it went downhill from there. 
When we entered our room we found a nice surprise- one of our companions on our tour had arranged for our room to be decorated as we were on our honeymoon. We were quite touched that they had helped him to put fresh roses in the room along with chocolates and non alcoholic champagne. This was a lovely surprise but I wish as much effort had been put into actually maintaining the room. There were no towels and the soap dispenser was empty. One of the bedside lamps wasn't working. There were no power outlets to charge anything and in the bathroom there was only a huge hole where the exhaust fan should be and the ceiling was covered in mould. There were no extra blankets or anything in case in was cold and no fridge facilities. The rooms were very noisy and I had a poor sleep. Next door there was a dog that was barking all through the night and lots of noise also came from what i believe to be other rooms toilet flushes and doors closing etc. 
Overall I'd say that the rooms need and overhaul to get up to scratch with other similarly priced accommodation in the area.

Rooms are poorly maintained

We stayed here for 2 nights. The seven nights before we slept in a tent, so the first night in a real bed and a hot shower - it felt like heaven. The rooms are clean and cosy, the staff is very nice and the breakfast was great. Downtown and the Beach are just A short walk away.

Great Hostel

The place was ok. I was sad to miss the complimentary breakfast as the huge dining area adjacent to the reception gave me high hopes.

The self-catering kitchen is barely existent. The refrigerator didn’t seem to be turned on and there simply were no supplies for one to cook with.
