Wonderful loggings and great game drive. Staff are welcoming and professional, nice spa with extra treatments. We had a relaxing couples massage. Lots of animals to see on the game drive. We saw rhino, giraffe, zebra, oryx, eland, steenbok and many more

Luxurious

Once in a lifetime experience, we saw Rhinos, zebras, giraffes, oryx, ostridges, the list goes on! I highly recommend Armstrong as a guide, I have never met anyone so knowlegeable and with such love for the animals. They even named a rhino after him!

Food was so and so but the views, tours and pool more than makes up for it!

Lovely place, you will not regret taking the time to go here!

I stayed 2 nights at GocheGanas with my boyfriend.  It's quite far away from anything so plan to do a lot of relaxing.  
Game drives: I booked both the morning and evening game drives and saw a lot of animals on both. 
Spa: I booked 3 spa treatments.  I had one lady who was great and clearly experienced, and another who was the opposite. 
Pool: The pool is freezing cold but I can't complain when it's 45 outside. We got to see a baboon up close at the pool which was fun! 
Bar: The drinks are delicious! The bartender was great and very attentive.
Rooms:  The rooms are large/spacious with a great view.  Bring binoculars!  There is a lot to see.  

Quiet Retreat

Relaxing stay in a wonderful location close to Windhoek. Rooms were lovely and the communal areas very relaxing. Food was delicious too and loved the round bar area. Was a nice way to end our stay in Namibia. Massages and treatments were enjoyable.

Relaxing stay

Beautifully located, luxurious lodge offers a wide range of beauty treatments. The lodges are perfectly clean and  original. The view from the terrace is truly breathtaking. I recommend ordering steaks from the restaurant. Delicious

Original, refreshing, luxurious

Really enjoyed our stay. The location is surreal, and even better than advertised. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and the wellness area also has everything you would want. Most of the staff were very friendly and gave their best. 

A few minor things: When holding a serious staff meeting, it would be better to do this behind closed doors, or in another location away from the ears of your guests. 
The design of the windows in the rooms could be optimized. The middle wooden bar restricts the view when sat in the chairs, which is a real shame. Please see last 2 attached pictures. 

I would definitely recommend coming here!

Well worth a visit!

We decided to spend our last night here before leaving for the UK, and as we had stayed at some amazing places whilst travelling through Namibia, the bar was set high!  
On turning off the main road to reach Gocheganas, it seemed like a very long, never ending roller coaster of a gravel path (made worse by the recent rains) in our little Polo and before we made it to the first gate.  It was clear that we were climbing quite high, but by the time we reached the Lodge (you park just a little down the hill and get picked up for the last bit). it was all forgotten by the stunning location and views of where we were to stay. We were allocated room/roundel no.1 and it was a fabulous huge space, with an outside terrace & loungers overlooking the surrounding mountains, a giant bath (next to the window with views) and shower room,. . . .plus, we were just in time for complimentary tea & chocolate cake in the restaurant, which was perfect as it just happened to be my birthday!!
The lodge offered game drives, but as we had already done quite a few very successful ones, we decided to just stay put and enjoy the facilities, ie the inside pool, filled with natural mineral water &  so lovely & warm, the outside pool is perfect for cooling off & sunbathing with more beautiful views. 
The Wellness Spa offers a number of treatments, massages, facials, manicure/pedicures at a reasonable price, although I went for the Indian head massage, which wasn't quite as relaxing as I had hoped and was quite rough!  Staff were all charming, service was attentive.  Dinner served that night was simple but delicious (Oryx steak) with the added bonus of an amazing African orange sunset. We weren't able to get a late checkout the next morning (we had a late evening flight), but we were able to use all the facilities until we were ready to leave. A wonderful and very special stay which I would highly recommend!

A fabulous last night at top location Gocheganas Lodge

This resort was our final stop before our return to the UK. The whole experience was a fantastic one. From the excellent accommodation to the superb service, I highly recommend this establishment. You can simply relax in your rondavel where you can easily watch plentiful game, sign up for the game drives or go for a walk out in the Bush. Brilliant.

Amazing experience! The staff were 5 stars throughout our whole stay. 
They helped me plan the most amazing proposal and went above and beyond to make it special for us. 
We will forever be greatful to all the staff that made our experience unforgettable. 
Would recommend the lodge to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway, fabulous service, amazing food, great room and amenities.

Amazing getaway!

Im very disappointmented in the employee’s of the restaurant that have an attitudes when serving us.
They are very unprofessional, does not mean we should be handled differently 
We are a company that came to support this business and yet we were handled like we are not respected at all. 
We tried to order drinks 
And the one lady thats the restaurant manager starts attacking us, about us not respecting them 
We aren't handled the same way, so why must we respect if we don’t even feel welcomed  

The only place we had peace was at the pool 
And the ladies that massaged us and gave pedicures at the pool even handled us better then the people in the restaurant employee’s 

Could this please be checked 
As we paid for such unprofessional service.
