My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papaya for our 8 week elective at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. There were many positives about staying at Papaya. Firstly, location. Papaya is located in a very safe neighborhood, about 15minutes walk to TUTH and 10minutes to the local supermarket and shops. It was also a 15minute bus ride (on the green bus) to Thamel from Ring road. Secondly, the apartment itself. We were lucky enough to each have a comfy double bed and our own room (4 total} on one level. Shared amenities including a spacious lounge area, kitchen (with microwave), and bathroom. Everything was very clean, and the staff cleaned our area regularly. Thirdly, the manager and staff. The staff were always very friendly and accommodating, helping us with what ever we needed. Especially the manager, he made sure our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable! We would recommend Papaya Hotel and Apartment to anyone who is travelling to Kathmandu!
