Everest Summit Lodge - Lukla 

I stayed at the Inn for 2 days and one night 23/24th of October this year when visiting Lukla with a group from Evertrek who were going on to Everest Base Camp. I was met by the staff and the owner of the Inn, Santoj . The service was simply excellent, nothing is too much trouble for the Nepalese though in a quite laid back manner, stoicism appears to be part of the Nepalese psyche. What should be born in mind is that this is an Inn, it is not a 5 star hotel though the service from the staff is on the same level as you would expect.. My room was basic and spotlessly clean, the food which can be ordered at any time from 6am in the morning to quite late in the evening is excellent with a very varied menu and if you want to mix and match dishes it isn't a problem. If you have any problems at all Santoj is the man to see, he arranged my return flight to Manchhap. Having been there for 2 short days I left wishing I could have stayed longer.
