Mija, Chiring (daughter) and Chiring (daughter in law), along with Milan and the other staff, could not have done more to make our stay perfect. 7 of us arrived dripping wet after a 10 day trek, the last 3 days in late monsoon rains. We were made to feel so welcome.
After a few days,  one headed home, one on a short trek and three to Gokyo, my sister and I stayed on in Namche. As the other 4 returned, they still found rooms for all of us, while getting busier with big trekking groups. 
My sister and I stayed a total of 13 nights. We were made to feel special and loved our time here.

Absolutely amazing experience. Lovely rooms, wonderful owners and staff.  The food is delicious! 

The reception of the hotel is unbeatable and cheaper than other similar quality hotels. Great value for money. 

The views are also beautiful.

Sheets were always clean, staff was helpful, food was good. Great choice for families too..Unlike other places you can charge your stuff in your room. Its also very centered and is close to a nice coffeee place.

This hotel run by an amazing mother daughter combination was welcoming and comfortable. A hot shower was a nice feature during an everest base camp trek. The food was excellent and they will even do your laundry! Highly recommend 

In March 2021 our group of 4 people stayed at hotel Namchey for 4 nights: 3 nights on our way to EBS and a night on return.  The stay at this hotel was the best and most comfortable of the trip.  The owner Maya and Manager Raju are simply the best.  Their welcoming smile made us feel at home.  They certainly have a magic wand up their sleeves.  I say that because they no matter what we requested it was there in minutes.
The hotel has a nice décor.  The dining hall is very spacious with a 24X7 electric heater.  Most of our time outside of the rooms was spent there.  The pictures on the wall truly made us feel like a celebrity.  The food served was always fresh, hot, and delicious.  Daal Bhatt is my favorite.  I ate that every day for lunch.  Thank you, Maya, for adding the variety of vegetables and Daal to make it over-the-top.
The rooms are open and very comfortable with a non-stop supply of running hot water.  I loved the seating area by the window that provided an excellent opportunity of watching the sunrise.  The heated mattresses on the beds are an excellent feature.  Slept like a baby during my stay.   The other luxury is an excellent service of internet.  We had good connections all over the hotel.  The quick laundry service is available and is helpful in a journey like this.
I must say once we reached EBC my sole mission was to get back to Hotel Namchey ASAP so that I can enjoy Maya and Raju’s five-star hospitality and company.  If ever I am back in Namchey Bazaar, hotel Namchey would be my home away from home.

My nephew and I stayed at the Hotel Namche at the end of November as part of a custom trek along the Everest Base Camp trail.  Our “deluxe” rooms were clean and very comfortable, especially with the heated mattress pads on the beds which made sleeping easy in such a cold environment.  Hot water was generally readily available except perhaps first thing in the morning, which is understandable.  The dining area was quite warm and cozy, and was an enjoyable place to take our meals or just sit with a hot cup of tea.  Plenty of books available to browse through as well.  The dal bhat was tasty, as were the thukpa and Sherpa Stew.  Laundry service is available as well, which is a great little luxury on this trek.  The only improvement I could think of would be to provide small space heaters in the deluxe rooms to help take the edge off the chill in winter.  Highly recommended!

Hi. I stayed at Hotel Namche which is located in the beautiful namche bazaar amongst the beautiful Himalayan Range. It's a small town visited by trekkers on their way to The Everest. I stayed there for 3 days. The staff is very polite and friendly. Food is excellent. I pretty much tried all their different food items and nothing disappointed me. The best of the lot is the traditional Dal Bhaat which is a staple diet amongst the Sherpas. It's the best you can get in town. Their rooms are also pretty decent with a good view but I suggest they should have heater facility in the rooms and it will definitely add to the hotels popularity. Keep it up!!

We stayed here both on the way to the trek (Everest Base Camp) for two nights and on the way back for one night. 
The hotel is centrally located in Namche. We splurged and took rooms with shower - necessary after the climb up and the walk down to Namche. 
The owners are extremely hospitable. The food is great - we found out that they grow their own veggies, and after two week of dal bhat a fresh tasty salad was heaven. Prices are reasonable and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend!

We felt  instantly welcome from the moment we were picked up at the helipad, great lunch in a cosy warm restaurant to the owners smile.

Rooms are basic but functional and we have a great view. All stuff members are attentive and try to fulfill special requests. We spent ten days which is unusual in this parts but the views were phenomenal from hotel restaurant and from top balcony.

Stayed here during a trek and highly enjoyed it. The staff are all excellent, the rooms were clean and probably some the best you'll come across on the Everest base camp trek, and the food was great! 

The lodge's location is rather central which makes exploring the town easy.

Laundry service was affordable and quick.

A special family run hotel

If you are trekking to EBC this is the best place to stay. Rooms were $30 per night and I was happy to pay. Hot shower, toilet in the room and a heated blanket. Luxury for the EBC trek. I wish my trekking company used this place on the way up and down. I broke from my trek with a few mates to stay here. So well worth it!

A great place to stay in Namche

We requested the super deluxe room which included an ensuite, hot shower, electric blankets, full size bed and electric heater.  We started our trek from Ringmo and experienced snow, rain, mud and cold nights.  So the idea of a warm bed and hot shower was heaven and worth every cent.  The shower stays hot and you can request a hair dryer from the front desk.  We used the laundry service as well.  They have a dryer so laundry is done quickly.  The staff was incredibly kind and remembered us when we stayed again on our return from EBC.  They even gave us the same room making it feel a little like home.  Our nights at the Hotel Namche gave us the best rest along our trek.  Highly recommended for the best shower, rest and warmth.  

Best Hotel for Shower and Warm sleep

After trekking for days without shower, arriving at the hotel Namche finally a place to have free hot shower and free charging of your electronics.  It is pricey compared to other places but with other places charging extra for shower and charging, it adds up.  The only thing about this place and it is so in every place I stayed in along the Everest trail is the very thin walls.  You can hear your neighbors coughing or farting.  Also the dining area gets very busy with people on group treks who are sometime obnoxious.  That is why I don't ever join a group trek.
