Stayed in Jamila Suites for 6 days in January. The hostess (and the owner) Jamila is in amazingly hospitable person. I arrived at around 10.30 pm, was warmly greeted, shown my room, and given the front door key.
In the morning there was amazing breakfast - different cheeses, salamis, 4 types of bread, 2 types of yogurt, boiled egg, 2 types of james, butter, spreads, coffee, tea... You name it - everything was there.
Jamila is lovely and open person, always smiling and happy.
The room was clean, the bedding comfortable.

Amazing hospitality in the middle of Amersfoort

Our experience by Jamila's B&B is full of contrasts. The hostess, a very polite and hardworking lady gave us the idea that we might be about to have the ideal stay at this small boutique hotel. We booked and paid in advance for 24 nights. We reserved a room with private WC and shower. The room assigned to us was the number 2. The room was clean and provided with small nice courtesies and amenities.
Breakfast was good and coffee was great! The hostess was constantly busy, she was the only one in charge of running the business. A lot of work and sure a work to be appreciated by any one. But all that work on the shoulders of only one person gave room to some disappointments.
The hostess did not honor the agreement of our reservation. Apparently inadvertently she doubly booked the room occupied and paid by us. She argued that she had notified to us about this situation and that we must change to another room which had not the private WC and shower that we requested and paid for. Taking into account that we are two pensionate seniors to whom it was requested to move to a higher floor to a smaller room without the private facilities that we requested and paid for, the idea was unacceptable, even if it was only for two nights. We told the hostess she never mentioned anything about it. We checked all the e-mailing between the hostess and us, the reservation as well as its payment and invoice/bill to let not doubt about it. At the end she admitted that maybe she had forgotten to tell us about it.
The hostess came with a solution that wasn't 100% satisfactory for us, but at least we didn't have to climb the whole way to the third floor. She gave us her room for two nights with an even smaller WC and shower, a well intentioned action, but it didn't took away the bad feeling created by the situation.
We understand that people can make mistakes, but we cannot understand that the hostess preferred to bother the clients that already have paid for a very long stay at her B&B. We would like to advice more attention, seriousness and professionalism from the hostess to run her business and treat her clients.
We are sure that with more improvement in the reservations and its dates  this small boutique hotel might become an ideal place to stay.
