Location right next to the flowers  market, on booking it said the room had a bed and a sofa bed and was described bigger then what we got at check in.
The room was nice with a view to the street and wood flooring with a decent private bathroom. The stairs we're very hard to deal with while carrying luggage.
The owner was very nice.
Changed towels once in a week.

Great location

Great location! Super price! Comfy bed! Walking distance to anything!!!! Very central street but double glazed windows so no noice from outside! Good speed of internet and very friendly host Alex, he helped us a lot with information and city map. Highly recommend it!!

Great location and super decorated room!

Great location. Really close to Dam Square and lots of bars/restaurants. Walking distance to the red light district and really nice to be away from that noisy area at night. Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom and good shower. Alex was really helpful. I would stay again as it's much nicer than anywhere I've stayed in Amsterdam before for a similar price!

Super hotel!!!

I went here with my boyfriend because I didn't want to stay in a hostel but we couldn't afford a hotel so we went in the middle and stayed here. We found the place rather difficult to find with little signing but luckily I researched where it was and looked for visible landmarks. The room is rather small but that's apparently normal for Amsterdam and prepare for the narrow stairs. The toilet we had to share with another room was also very small and hard to move around in. The owner was delightful and very helpful but to warn you that it is quite a walk from the red light district where everything is and we got lost a few times coming home. I would stay somewhere else the next time I go.

Avoid at all costs unless you want to be bitten to death by mosquitos! I ended up with 19 bites in total from this place! it is awful, dirty and mouldy! the bed was covered in hairs, the pillow cases and duvet covers had holes in. The curtains were covered in god knows what. Mosquitos were splattered across the walls obviously from other people who had been bitten to death! The room is so small and hot its unbearable. The door is also not very secure, someone could easily break in. Bathroom was ok however very mouldy and smelly. Towels were basically like flannels and were meant to be white but were more of a black stained colour. The only good thing about this place is the location. If only they done it up a bit this place could have so much potential! it's not hard to buy a few new duvet covers! but yes, you do get what you pay for however I will NEVER stay in this place again.
