Spacious apartment, very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, excellent location - steep stairs to the apartment.
Host was wonderful and very informative - highly recommend this for groups, families etc.

Great Apartment - very comfortable

Clean, quiet, cosy and secure rooms. The location was perfect, walking distance to the main tourist attractions, the area is beautiful! The staff were very friendly and helpful, my bag got stolen on the first night out in the city, losing our room key, the staff were very understanding and directed us to the police station in attempt to help us find my belongings. Unfortunately it was never returned but they reassured us so it wouldn’t spoil our time there, handled really professionally! Thank you!

Great location lovely staff

Myself and my boyfriend returned home from Amsterdam last Monday after staying at the Wladimir b n b for 3 nights. On first impressions we didn’t know what we had come too as it said dance studio so we were really confused😂 but after being greeted by a lovely lady named Barbara who took us so our ‘apartment’ we were both very happy! I think we must have been on the top floor as she stairs were so tiering 😂 but the apartment was lovely! Really spacious with comfy sofas , tv , kitchen with oven , hob , kettle (tea coffee etc) there was also water for us on arrival which I thought was nice. The bathroom was lovely and spacious with great bath and shower decorated to a high spec. Bedroom was good size and bed was so comfy!! Well worth the tiering walk up the stairs! Location was also really good with only a short walk into the centre. When we return to the beautiful city of Amsterdam we will definitely be returning to the Wladimir! Thank you very much for your hospitality. 

Comfy stay, great location and lovely host

The B&B was right across the canal from the main Elandsgracht bus station (so getting from airport to B&Bs is very easy) and catching a bus or tram is easy.  It’s only a 10-15 min walk to the museums.  A little far from central station (20-25 min walk). The cost is much better for a comparable suite.  The suite we got (not sure if there are other rooms/suites in the building) was very spacious and clean (had everything for a long or short stay).  A very large living area and kitchen area, with separate bedroom.  The only drawback was the room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator (stairs were narrow.....so may be a challenge with larger luggage....we just had small luggage, so wasn’t an issue). 

Convenient, reasonable, and comfortable 

We stayed at this place for three nights this week and found it to be excellent quality, especially considering the cheap price.

The facilities (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen) were clean and comfortable.

We had a little self-contained apartment at the back of the dance studio. We had access to a kitchen (which had a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, sink, crockery and cutlery), a bathroom (including towels, hairdryer shampoo, soap and body wash) and a little garden terrace.

The hostess was really friendly, helped us find nice restaurants and was VERY quick/helpful when we messed up the shower.

It's located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and a late night mini market nearby. About 25 minute walk from dam square (which was a nice, straightforward and scenic walk).

Would definitely recommend. 

Ideal Choice for Travellers

A great location for visiting on foot the many attractions and restaurants that Amsterdam has to offer. There is also a bus terminal located directly opposite the property which is ideal for travelling to and from the airport. 
Barbara the owner was most helpful and the  room we stayed in was small but adequate for my wife and I and the bed was very comfy. It had an on suite with great shower and towels and toiletries were included. The kitchenette is  small and narrow but it does come with a kettle, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Coffee and tea is also provided.  
Outside at the back of the property is a court yard which you can sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine but be warned you can only sit outside until 9pm and then you either have to return to your room or finish your bottle away from the property sitting on a bench seat overlooking the canal. 
The room is attached to a dancing studio but as we were staying over the weekend this was closed so I can’t make any comment about noise.
The property is advertised as Bed @ Breakfast (B&B) but no breakfast is provided.
All in all a great weekend in a fabulous city 


Great Location

The apartment was clean and comfortable and Barbara was very helpful but we like peace and quiet and sadly our trip was spoilt by the noise from the dance studio which was immediately adjacent to the apartment. This pumped out music all afternoon until 915pm. I only wish there had been a warning as then we would not have booked. I think there is another apartment which might be quieter. Ironically after the studio closed at night it was very quiet!

Excellent apart from the noise

This is a great base for an Amsterdam adventure since you are a 20 minute walk from all the main attractions. The owner was helpful and most accommodating.
	• Although the bedroom is compact, the bed is very comfortable. The en suite shower is most effective and the towels were nice.
	• The kitchenette is small but serviceable and does have coffee machine, fridge, microwave and a dinky sink - hence perfect for breakfast, storing some of the delights from the local market or making a snack.

Great place

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. It’s not a B&B, it’s self-catering, which we prefer. Our apartment was enormous with a kitchen area, dining table that would seat 8 and 3 sofas. The bathroom had a double sink, shower and bath and the bedroom had a king size bed. There are lots of windows but because of the location and buildings around this room  has no view. 
Wladimir gave us clear instructions about getting to the B&B (just take the airport bus, stay on until the last stop and you can see the studios across the canal) and to ring the bell when we got there. As we had to leave early for our return flight we arranged to leave a key on the stairs when we left. 
The surrounding area is lovely and we thought the location was ideal. I would stay here again.

Lovely, spacious accommodation in great location

We stayed here for 3 nights.  It was very hard to find even with our car's GPS because there is no signage on the street, only a buzzer to gain entry at the sidewalk.  The room is off an inner courtyard and exits through a locked door to a side street so feels very safe.  The owner is most pleasant and helpful, the room, while small, was very clean and VERY quiet, and the king sized bed was the most comfortable I slept in my entire time in Europe! 
It is across the street from a bus station that offers an "express" bus directly to the airport, due to traffic in the city you should allow an hour for this trip.
For us it was well located, a pleasant walk to the museum quarter, Vondelpark, shops and restaurants, but be aware that Amsterdam central is very large so, depending where you want to go, you may find the location a bit remote (for example, it is NOT close to the main train station)
Overall it suited us well and I believe was good value for Amsterdam.
