Best place to stay in Apeldoorn for sure! We enjoyed the bicycle rental, delicious breakfast, drinks from the lounge, beautiful balcony, free parking, wifi that actually works! Host was so kind and gracious and the place has been renovated so beautifully. It is cozy and warm filled with lovely energy. Can’t wait to go back!

Best place to stay in Apeldoorn

Petra is owner and operator, super friendly, like coming home to your mom.  Very comfortable patio outside seating along with a roomy lounge and dining area.  Drinks available; beer, wine and spirits. All good. Snacks also available.  Breakfast included was expansive and filling.  No lunch required after this.  Room a bit small but it’s in basically a large house so for one night, more than adequate.  Service is exceptional, friendly and helpful.

Lovely Homey Stay

This small hotel is truly a little piece of heaven! 
The beautiful lounge/breakfast room is so welcoming and elegant, and Petra is a wonderful host. Nothing was any trouble and it was lovely to meet someone who takes so much pride in what she does. I particularly loved the fresh flowers and candles 💐
Breakfast was made to order, everything was fresh and beautifully presented. 
Room was at the front of the hotel but there was very little noise from passing traffic. Shower great, lots of lovely towels and quality shower gel/hair wash was provided. Very comfortable bed and 3 great nights’ sleep!

Just perfect!

From the welcome to the send-off everything was perfect. Zenzez felt like being home: the amenities, the decor....the list goes on and on! 
I would definitely come back here and choose it over any other hotel. Petra truly respects and defines the spirit of the "boutique hotel"! 

What a beautiful haven of peace and zen!

stylish establishment, wonderful host, great breakfast. We were even offered to use the bikes so we could discover the surroundings. I can only recommend this establishment for a stay in Apeldoorn. Location is quiet, yet close to the city centre.

great place - a hidden gem

A really friendly family run hotel  the hosts Petra and Douwe treat you like family .could not find fault with anything ,enjoyed everything and have booked to return next year ,a treasure of a small Hotel .

Perfection

Wonderful, characterful hotel with friendly staff, quality rooms in a convenient location. The hotel also have a inviting outside space where you can have a drink or read a book. 

The generous breakfast is tailored to each guest.

Charming Stay

Zenzez Hotel & Lounge is a hidden gem in Apeldoorn, and we are so fortunate to have found it. The location is amazing, the property is gorgeous, and Petra (the owner) was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are stunning and perfectly decorated for a beautifully comfortable stay. Stay here when in Apeldoorn

Not really in the league of other five-stars, but I'm going with the five anyway because we got such a strong feeling that Petra really wanted to be sure we had a good visit. Also the price was good. 

After a warm greeting, and advice that we could leave our car right there on the street overnight. We lugged our bags upstairs (not a problem for us, but the stairs are a bit narrow and twisty; Petra carried a couple of bags for us). Then back down to the comfortable lounge/breakfast room to relax.  

Our room wasn't large, but we had room to unpack, a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Note the pictures here on TA, though: our room had the angled ceiling over one side of the bed, and if you are two tall people who get up in the night you'll have to be careful. 

We had dinner at Wilde Pieters, an easy walk away.  

Breakfast––ordered from a card the previous evening––was delivered in style and was of high quality. 

So, despite a few things that could be problems for others, we had a fine night.

Very welcoming

This tastefully decorated hotel is close to the Centre of town, 10 minutes walk, and to the relaxing Oranjiepark. Petra is an attentive host, providing a high quality breakfast that is ordered the previou# night. An honesty bar provides a variety of alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee. Beds very comfortable; excellent free wifi.
