Its a real joy staying at Isola Bella, Anne (and her husband)is a fantastic host and they make a fab breakfast with local products. There is a big kitchen where you can even cook if you want. Isola Bella is a place where you can quitely sit back and relax, out- and inside. Beds are very good, rooms and bathroom big enough. We stayed in the room downstairs. I loved it and defenitly can reccommand this beauty of a B&B in Den Burg Texel.

Such an atmosphere, such beauty

I stayed at B&B isola Bella for one night to sail the Round Texel catamaran race. This farm is adapted very nice to accomodate tourist visiting the island of Texel. Room is adequate, not spacious but good enough for a night's sleep and a clean bathroom. 
Breakfast is served in the large "living room" of Anneke & Piet with enough choice of food and fresh drinks. It is possible to join them for dinner as well (not à la carte, but just for what's served ;-). You can pick your own drink and write it on a note on your room number... how simple life can be!
After the sale of the farm, the owners will move to Spain. Hopefully another couple will maintain Isola Bella in the way it is right now.

We stayed here with a few friends. The place is situated conveniently in the middle of the island, when the weather is fine (which it wasn't) almost all places are reachable on bike. (The b&b has some rental bikes at the disposal of the guests.)
What I liked a lot is the large lounge with different area's were you could either join a group or sit a bit secluded with a book. There is also a great, professionally equipped kitchen with 4 stoves and 4 ovens, available for the guests to use and prepare their own lunch or dinner. I cooked for our little group and got advise on the best places to buy meat (you have to eat lamb when in Texel!), veggies, cheeses etc.

Great place, fine kitchen, cosy atmosphere

Somebody else booked this B&B for us. On arrival we had the choice of the available rooms. All of them were very small. The bed was situated so that the one near the wall couldn't sit up wtihout hitting his head against the ceiling of the slanted roof and had to climb over the other person to get out of the bed. There was no locker where to put your stuf, only some drawers beneath the bed. The washbasin in the bathroom was so small that when using it there was more water on the floor then in the basin. The breakfast consistent of local products, but mixed with some of the cheapest spreads. Another strange thing was when sitting in the lounge with the other guests, the people who were replacing the owners offered other guests a drink on the house with completely ignoring me. Not that I was after a free drink, but at the least this behaviour I found a little strange. Considering the price we payed for 4 nights and what we payed in the past few years for much better B&B's this was realy overcharged. Also the wifi in the room was very weak and sometimes went completely.
