Great long weekend stay in very quiet, rural area in a big farmhouse, split into different accommodations. Ample parking. Very hospitable hosts. We stayed in the apartment, providing 3 bedrooms with en-suite, kitchen, washing room and sitting room. Very clean took and everything working well (WiFi especially, serving a multitude of simultaneously connected devices) but some appliances and furnishings, decorations etc. could use an update. But what about the breakfast, that’s is really outstanding. Also good beds, very nice views and, last but not least, a perfect place to travel to the Ameland wadden isle against a very fair price.

Great location, what a sunset! Beautiful clean accomodation, great service, good breakfast, good beds, big rooms, ideal with children (playground/ trampoline/ safe surroundings). Absolutely great! We have already booked for next year.

Amazing

After a cycling trip of 135km in the rain and windforce 8 we, a group of 28 cyclists, arrived here soaking wet to the bone. The 2 hosts welcomed us with a smile and did their very best to get us all warmed up with coffee and a shower in one of the 2 showers available. They even offered to wash and tumbledry our clothes.
Staying and sleeping in the 5 tents was daunting in the rain and wind. However, the atmosphere in the dining area made us soon forget that. The fridge was quickly filled up with beer and Beerenburg :)
The pasta buffet and breakfast were very well organised and there was plenty.
The average rating for the rooms/tents is due to the weather. With sunshine this is a perfect place to stay a night.

Perfect hosts

We've been looking for a place to spend New Year's eve at the coast. Unfortunately, all places we looked into were fully booked and after an evening of frustration, we spontanously booked this appartment. In the middle of nowhere. It was the best thing that could happen to us!

We really enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse, the bed was comfortable and the rooms spatious and just lovely. We will return!
