The room was very dusty, I was mistreated by the staff, some people of the staff even imply that I was a prostitute (since I was travelling alone), I complained about that with the front desk but no one did nothing or try to compensate for anything, I got disturbed many times by the cleaning and all that situation was kind racist and sexist, I complain about and nothing. Moral of the story , if you are a woman travelling alone, don’t stay there

The room wasn't properly cleaned. The service was mediocre, the communication with the responsible for the cleaning staff was poor and downright disrespectful, and the food options were limited. It's incredible how they have such a high score, it's misleading or something has declined since then. I usually only review to give either 5 or 1 if the experience was horrible, so imagine my disappointment that 0 points reviews aren't a thing. Consider this review a PSA if you plan to spend your money there.

A lot of rooms for improvement

My husband surprised me during my birthday last April. They offer variety of street food - and one of our favorites are Boneless Pork Ribs and Salmon Tartare. Make sure to order desserts after dinner! Service was okay! They also have gluten-free dishes! Great choices for cocktails and beers! Will surely come back again.

A number of different things on the menu - I had an Indonesian rice bowl thing at it was excellent - a good amount of beers on tap and very friendly service - is go back here for sure - prices pretty good as well

Sounds like they are doing the building works in your room at 7am. Also as another review stated the heating system is full of air and needs bleeding so makes a lot of noise  all night long.
Great hotel if you didn’t come for sleep!



Sounds like a building site 

We were arriving for the first time in the Netherlands and we wanted a place to stay for some days prior to find a rental home. Everything was nice until we opened the room, the toilet had no door and the shower was in the middle of the room. If you like those kind of things, go for it. Another thing it was the heating that was making devilish sounds, and also the heating was behind the bed, which wasn't really good for heating. 

Expect the unexpected

If you enjoy using the toilet in front of your partner/roommate, book this hotel. 
The toilet is just standing in the room with no door or whatever, I cannot imagine anyone will find this comfortable and it's an absolute no-go for a romantic weekend. 
We had a room on the top floor, there's only a tiny fan and the temperature was about 27 degrees the entire night (it was a hot weekend). The hotel is straight above the terraces so don't expect a quiet night, unless you close the windows and pretend you are at the sauna.

Stayed here for one night as we were visiting friends after a mini break in Amsterdam.
The rooms are located above a bar and check in is with bar staff. Our children had the adjacent room which was accessed by an internal door.
The rooms are very modern. Tastefully decorated and contemporary. Bed is a cabin style which was ultra comfortable. Could have done with another pillow. Tea and coffee making facilities available. 
If you book a room make sure you are comfortable with your partner as the shower is located in the middle of the room and the toilet too so no privacy whatsoever. There was a mirror opposite the shower so if you are vain it's ideal. 
Breakfast was €5 each and consisted of yogurt and honey, bread, ham, cheese, ham and a banana. The bread was lovely and fresh.
For saying it was above a bar we slept soundly and couldn't hear any noise from the bar however we were on the second floor at the back. 
The only thing I didn't like was that anyone can access the rooms from the stairwell. There should be extra security for guests for peace of mind. 


Different !!

This was my first stay, it was not quite what I expected. The first surprise is that there is no reception area, check in is within the restaurant. The other surprise is the included breakfast is served in a brown paper bag in your room by ticking from a small selection printed on the bag. Real breakfast does not start until after 9:00, so no use if working.
The room layout was a bit odd too, fine on your own, not sure I would like the "in room" toilet if I was sharing.

Not my usual hotel

We've had lunch here. It took quite a while before the waitress came to bring us a menu. The menu is not very extensive. The glass for the wine were filthy. The wine was good. The waitress dropped and explained that simply cutlery at other guests at the table. The food was disappointing, the flavors were not really coordinated. A little disappointing.
