Large room with comfortable double bed, bathroom was good with a large shower area. Whole room was in an enjoyable style.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of bread, fruit, meat and cheese - an excellent continental breakfast.

Stylish and Homely

To put it simple; I am born and raised in Hoorn, worked in a shop in the citycenter, so don't just know every place, but also know a fair bit of the stories. With maybe the exception of the local 10 day fair in August, this is the place with the best value for money. Rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is they are always friendly. Very close to train and bus station. Do note the stairs. For most quite ok, but de disabled should look elsewhere.

Best place to stay in Hoorn

I had to stay overnight in Hoorn during one of my many visits to The Netherlands.  This hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the train station which was ideal for me.  I had a call from the hotel on the day before i travelled to check my expected arrival time, and even though i arrived an hour earlier than i said the welcome the hotel was great.  I was told where the best places to eat were within the town.  Breakfast was made for me over an hour before the normal times as i was being picked up.
Hoorn is very quiet on a Monday night, most of the restaurants and bars are closed.
The only criticism of the hotel is there is no coffee/tea in the room, but it wasn't a massive problem.  The free wi-fi was stable and worked well.

Great place to stay in Hoorn

This hotel is located in the centre of this beautiful small town approx 30 min North of Amsterdam. The room had a great shower, clean and home made breakfast is served in a seperate dining room. Its about 1 km from train station. The hotel is quiet and unlike the major cities had larger than normal rooms. There is a little pub next door for you to relax and watch the world go by. Centre of a most Magnetic Place

This small hotel is ideally situated in the historic centre of this old town. Very comfortable and friendly and great value. Don`t expect big luxury hotel facilities but it far exceeds the standards of of budget chains, more like a large bed and breakfast.
