We stayed 2 nights in standard family room which was a good size with a double bed, 3 singles, modern bathroom, garden view. It was very comfortable. Downstairs is a communal living area for all guests to use the kitchen, relax on the sofa and armchairs, eat the delicious breakfast. Communal but not intrusive at all, works very well as there is so much space. Also because the area is so peaceful, people walk around calm as if on a retreat. The garden is beautiful, with horses at the back, chickens walking around unrestricted, and there is a trampoline and swings for kids. Plus a very good size outdoor pool. The welcome was also very nice, we felt very welcome indeed. Piaam is a very small village and very pleasant. 2 km away is Makkum where there are local shops, cafes, restaurants. We had a lovely short vacation at Piaam State B&B.

So peaceful

We were in this B&B in August while we were out in northern Europe. The house is immersed in the green in a small well-kept and beautiful village. It looks like it's in a fairy tale. The property is perfectly restored and well-kept. The rooms, at least ours, were very spacious and comfortable. The Italian-speaking owner who is in Holland is a very useful thing to find, it's very nice and kind. There is the possibility of parking in the garden of the house. There is also a swimming pool for the most reckless. The breakfast is very genuine and excellent. I have to say it's very nice but because it's a B&B and in the middle of nothing nature it's a bit expensive. I also have to warn you that to reach the stairs you need to make a room or not too comfy, so, we do have some nice features on the ground floor, but we recommend that you carry them on the floor, or we do some nice things on the ground floor.

In the midst of nature

The property is located in a very small village immersed in green... it looks like a fairy tale, quiet. It is wonderfully furnished, huge room and modern bathroom and furnished with everything available to guests modern kitchen and with you fruit cafes... The breakfast is excellent and varied. X who is not afraid of the cold there is also the pool. The owner is very nice, she gave us many directions on places to visit was available is very kind. It is a MERAVIGLIOSS place, sorry to be just passing, it was worth staying for a little relaxation immersed in green!!!

Bed and breakfast super!!

In an idyllic setting - Piaam has perhaps 15 houses - this beautiful property is located. The garden is very large, with a trampoline, a swing, a barn with chickens, goats, horses and a pony, a pool, a pond with seating on a sidewalk with Hollywood swing and, of course, the main house. It is located in the EG of the living area. This consists of a couch with reading area, a huge modern sofa (these can be used without restrictions) and a long stable. In the OG there are five more beds per room. These are simply not very neat and modern.

We're so excited.

This was the second time we stayed in this beautifully restored Friesian farmhouse. The rooms are spacious and can accommodate up to 5 people. There is also a separate chalet in Friesian style if you plan on staying here with a group. In the spacious but cosy communal area you will find a charming reading area and 2 large wooden "farm" tables where you can enjoy your delicious breakfast. Don't forget to give the special Friesian sugar bread a try! It's absolutely mouth-watering. If you have special dietary needs be sure to inform your host on booking so she can make provisions. There is also a fridge, a microwave and a luxury "cooking island" in the communal area. This was great for us as we have children with food allergies.
The outside area also comes with a pool and a large grassy area with a table where you can relax and read a book or sip your coffee. 

The hostess was lovely and made sure we had a great time. This is a perfect location for discovering Friesland and will definitely be back next year!
