Forgot my e reader .phoned many times . They promised to send it… well they just didn’t . Gave my credit cart for the expenses . Said my sun could come and get it 
Very very disappointed

Lost luggage 

Cosy but spacious riverside hotel in the picturesque town of Middelburg, Zeeland with great amenities, friendly staff and super fast WiFi! The building is lovely, looks very traditional, but the hotel is very modern with all the amenities one would expect, whist the building retains all of its character. Beautifully clean and pristine.

We would highly recommend! Just wish we were staying longer.

Lovely Boutique Hotel

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. nice rooms, clean and a good breakfast. The manager was very keen on a good review and did everything for it. We combined our stay with a visit to Goes (oestour) and visit a very good restaurant "De Gespleten Arent"

Location is amazing where it's right across the station however rooms are crampy and stairs are very strange. No lift, so ensure your not carrying much luggage and it's not economic either. Breakfast was good and fresh and owner takes personal interest however it's an old property which is a let down otherwise average stay.

Nice location,  crampy rooms

Just across the bridge from the station and 5 minutes from the pedestrian area, this charming small hotel is perfect for a visit to Middelburg.
For a small (9 room) hotel, the breakfast is good with a variety of meat, cheese, sweets, cereal and bread options. The owner will also make eggs to order. The coffee machine makes excellent coffee including cappuccino and other specialty drinks.

The room was comfortable and the shower was good. There isn't a lot of closet space but enough for a few days and plenty of hangers.

The only word of caution is that there is no lift and being an old herrenhuis, the stairs are a bit steep and narrow. Certainly not the worst we've seen (like the canal houses in Amsterdam) but could be an issue for some.

Overall, an excellent value, comfortable room and great customer service.

We will not hesitate to stay here on our next visit to Middelburg.

Perfect!

Booked this hotel on the basis of various reviews. I gave to say I was not disappointed. The hotel is small but comfortable with simple rooms. A good wifi signal was very helpful. The hotel doesn't serve evening meals but there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. A good breakfast is served so you won't be hungry. The hotel is located a short walk over the canal bridge from Middelburg station which is on the main line from Schipol airport to Vlissingen. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Business trip to Vlissingen

The hotel is well kept and in a good location, close enough to centre to walk but far enough away to be quiet at night. Good bed, bath and wifi. Nice breakfast as well.
The only problem is there is no elevator and the stairway is steep and winding with small steps, making it difficult to haul bulky or heavy luggage up or down. No help was offered either.

The hotel itself is small, but the rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean (as expected in this part of The Netherlands). Staff are very friendly.

I enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast. Wifi is free, with an excellent download speed of 17 Mbps; the upload speed is a little disappointing 1 Mbps (it took the whole night for my pictures to be uploaded to the cloud).

The mattress was excellent. The room has a huge flat screen with a large choice of channels (although several channels were not available for unknown technical reasons).

In front of the hotel is ample parking space (ca 10 Euro/24 hrs). The hotel is at walking distance of the city center. Middelburg is an excellent location to explore the main places of the Zeeland province.
