Seafood is very good here, different types of oysters, shrimps, fish, etc. Fresh. Service is fast and friendly. Located on a square with two other restaurants that usually seem to attract more people -- but just take look inside and enjoy the food (and wines)!

Good seafood, fast and pleasant

Its a small hotel with 5 or 7 rooms. The restaurant was full with old fisher stuff. In mine opinion was this modern in the 80's.
The menu have a few different choices, like meat and fish. The fish tasted delious. Very good.
Room is dated. Confortable bed, big badroom.
Breakfast is small. 2 sandwiches, cheese and meat, coffee and oranges jus.
The price quality is good. The hotel is located near  by the harbor and I think in July is there more to see and to do in January.

Old type Hotel

One must, first of all,  ask himself what is the reason to spend a night in Tholen, if any. If there is a positive answer to this question then one can review the place where he stays. The Hotel Zeeland is a small, old fashioned place, simple and easy. So not to much to say about the sleeping side, clean and reasonably priced. 
What is really not exciting is the food. While booking, I saw a nice dining room pic, so I had my dinner here, instead than at a place just in front.  But I was the only one, and I quickly understood the reason: the food looks very much frozen and heated for the sole client who has been fooled looking at the dining room pic. Which is, I must say, nice and very well arranged, but probably one must be lucky enough to have dinner when some other clients had the same idea for the same evening. And, on top, the cost is high, not cheap at all, and for frozen food this is just not good at all.
With regard to the breakfast, mmmhh, expensive and no self service: there are a few things (one egg, a few slices of ham, bread from last night re-heated to make it look fresh -and no spare "it has not been delivered yet", no cereals) on your table and that's it. And also this cost is too much, € 10 for a few things is just too much.
