We booked this place for a fun weekend but due to the terrible service we just lost our money. 

Because of COVID, we couldn’t travel and the management simply IGNORED the PANDEMIC happening in the whole world and didn’t allow us to choose another date when the situation is less serious. 

What a shame! Restaurants are also closed and the room has no kitchen. “You can have take away food” was their solution. 
It is a delicate moment for hotels and we understand. However, hotels should also be comprehensive and care about their guests as well. We had to pay for something that we didn’t even had the chance to use. 

BE CAREFUL, don’t book this place and don’t expect them to be understandable during these hard times. 

Waste of money and energy, terrible service. Never booking it again or recommending to anyone.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights to visit family around Christmas. The hosts are very friendly and very accommodating. She serves a fantastic breakfast at the time of your liking. Easy and free parking. It's a 4 room, 2 story building behind an old farmhouse of the hosts. Nice patio and a pond with koi fish, very charming. Great location in walking distance of town.

The room we stayed at was the Althea, which is very modern, clean, roomy and had great amenities such as a steam shower, sauna (!) and a small wall mounted gas fireplace which created a nice atmosphere and some extra warmth. Awesome king size bed, we slept very well here. All in all much better than any hotel room we’ve stayed at.

The only minus points were the open bathroom with toilet (they provide a wooden screen, but still...) and the wooden floor separating the first and second floor. That means you hear every foot step upstairs, depending how heavy footed the guests are which can be very annoying when they stay up late or get up early, we had a sampling of both with 2 different guests upstairs. My advice to the owners would be to put some thick rugs on the floor in the walking areas.

We would stay here again, but probably rent an upstairs room even though they are smaller.

Clean, comfortable, great amenities 

After visiting Het Loo, we drove about 30 minutes out of our way to stay here because of the exceptional reviews.  Well, they were right on the money, for a B&B this is a destination all on its own.  An amazing room, gracious and helpful host couple, and a lazy friendly Malamute dog... what more can you ask for.  Would not hesitate to recommend this property to a friend or family.  Just do it.

Thoughtfully built out, exceptional property.  Do not hesitate to book.

I've stayed here a few times now with work and I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the facilities and finish of the rooms. Debora is the owner and she couldn't be more lovely, always happy to look after her guests and provide a delicious breakfast at a time to suit. Quite simply the best B&B I've ever stayed in.
