Officially this hotel is not in Ootmarsum. However, it is only a 15 min walk to the centre of Ootmarsum. de Landmarke has excellent facilities. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Not the latest fashion, but everything you need is there. Most important: beds are good and the shower works well. My pillow was a bit big, but that's personal preference. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit, but only a bit. Altogether we were happy with our room.
There is a swimming pool, sauna (temporarily cosed due to Covid 19), ample free parking, and bikes for the guests to use free of charge. The bikes are a nice extra. They are recent, have lights and 7 gears and are easily adjustable. 
The restaurant is excellent. We had full board and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals. Staff are very friendly and they do an excellent job. We will be back some day!

Perfect hotel for visitors of Ootmarsum and surroundings

Ootmarsum is pretty, a little twee, touristy - plenty of galleries and cafes and restaurants.  Just on the Dutch side of the German border.  What I particularly like is the ability to see local and international glass art on show in neighbouring galleries.  

The surrounding countryside is really wonderful - easy short or long walks and bicycle rides (and horseriding).  

So if you want to come here the Landmarke is the place to stay - large rooms, huge showers, pool and sauna and bikes for use, outside terraces .... And a daily changing three course supper for €28.50  (plus a la carte).  Friendly staff. Lift.  Free Wifi. 

None of the urban roomsafe, minibar or trouser press stuff - this is simple country life with some luxuries thrown in.  To be recommended.

Lovely well-run hotel near pretty touristy town and gentle walks

We were spending 2 nights in this hotel for visiting friends and business in Germany.the room was not big but everything was there and so it was in the bathroom. The cover on the bed was rather stiff and it was not easy to wrap it around your body.
Breakfast was ok but there were quite a lot of guests and the food was not easy to reach. The hosts were very polite and friendly

Invited to a party, not wanting to drive back home after the party we booked this hotel in Ootmarsum. Together with the family of our son, including three grandchildren.
Very friendly staff, perfectly capable of anticipating our needs. Kids loved the swimming pool.

Good Hotel in Lovely surrounding

We have been to this hotel twice now and again it was fantastic. The personnel is super polite and very service minded. Hotel is very clean, nice rooms, calm surroundings with great nature.
Food is good, bicycles that are available for free use were great (we made the most beatiful cycling tours). We really love this area in Holland, nature is breathtaking and again we surely sill stay in this hotel again.
