The rooms are clean,  all the people of the hotel, restaurant are very friendly, 
It is possible to take half pension. The restaurant is new, but very goed.
Hiring bikes, ebikes is an option, also massage etc.
You can reach the hotel by bus. Is is about 15 minutes from the harbour

We had a nice lunch here outside on the terrace, with good salads, en we enjoyed a nice cranberry cake. The staff was very friendly and swift. Later on we dropped by again, this time for a brunch/nice cup of coffee.

Nice lunch

You've just spent a week here. You've found nothing to brag about. A nice breakfast, big clean rooms where you can even spend a rainy day. Attentive and friendly staff. And not to forget: the bike rental in the house, with a large selection of well-maintained wheels.

It's really nice.

A hotel in the countryside but very comfortable. Although the number of rooms is large, this is not felt at all apart from the meal times. The hotel lends bicycles for escapes in the vicinity. Very welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious with terrace. Access is impossible on foot from the port. Buses are required. The 1st and 2nd stop in front of the hotel.

It's a very nice place.

We stopped here for lunch during a bike trip of the island and we were not disappointed. The hotel is located in Lies, a small village and the setting was just right for lunch. We ate outside on the terrace. 
The service was good and the food delicious. 
Will return when next visiting Terschelling.

Very pleasant lunch stop during bike trip

We had a romantic weekend in this hotel. It is a very beautiful cozy hotel with good location right in the middle of the island. We had a room on the 1 floor with nice big window and terrase outside. Good breakfast, lovely interior, cozy hall with nice fire place, and beautiful territory around. It's possible to rent cycles here. I advice this hotel for 100%!!!!

Beautiful and comfortable

The rooms are beautifully designed. The service is at least largely friendly. The volume of this hotel was not enough to convince us. This hotel was due to several factors. The rooms are very open. The rooms look very nice during the day, you have to struggle with the brightness of the room clearly at night. We rarely slept so badly during the holidays. Another disadvantage is breakfast. There was no fresh fruit. The volume is like a large canteen. Cocoa has to be paid separately because it is not included in the breakfast and the worst of all are these tablets where the guest in the style of McDonald's is allowed to take a few minutes to meet customers. No one is going to have a breakfast or a cup of coffee. Nothing has been finished until a little later in the morning. We have been told that we would not have to clean our rooms until 10:30 a. We'd have expected more.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Wonderful welcome where we could sit down, they would bring us a welcome drink and do checkin there. We upgraded to the Family Garden Suite which was brilliant with a built-in bedstead for the kids: they loved it. In-room steam cabin and spa bath topped it off. The only weird experience: the room had a water cooker, but hotel staff said "they did not facilitate tea-bags." Throws off an otherwise great experience. Oh, and the poorly designed website does not do justice to the hotel

Nice surprise

There is no need to look further: this is the best place for overnighting in the island of Terschelling. We love the bar around the huge circular fireplace; the right place to unwind after a hard day at whatever you are doing there. Staff is remarkably friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very adequate. There is a dinner with fixed menu available if you do not wish to go out.
The rooms, especially the tuinsuites are large room-suites which are really worth the small extra payment. We appreciated the Turkish bath and foam-bath.
WiFi is working very well.
