Terrible place and extremely rude manager / owner (The rest of the staff was very polite and tried to help) 
- At arrival the could find us in the system and gave us a different cabin compared to what has been booked. (Slight upgrade but much older interior)
-  When finally getting down to the the cabin its 12 degrees inside and the door is so bended that you can view outside with the door closed = a lot of air getting in. 
- Ventilation holes in the bedroom was damaged so it could not be closed 
- Window was defect and could not be closed so would open when you closed the door. 

And the list can continue for days of how poor a place this was. 

We had some friends staying in some of the other cabins with similar bad experience in different areas. 

So after a couple of hours we decided to go up at speak with the staff that was very agreeing and could see the issues. But then the manager / owner took over and was very rude and told us that everything was fine and if we had a problem we could just find another place to stay (Time is around 9:00 PM) as they where fully booked. 

The cabins are heated with Gas and in our cabin we had like an open fireplace also on Gas that felt like it was not been serviced in years so we decided not to use it and turn it off with the gas switch going up to the device. 

All in all a very bad experience and for sure not a place I will ever stay at again

Horrible Cabins and rude owner / Manager

Perfect place for few day relax. Friendly staff cheap bungalo.The rooms for just short people couse the bungalo is very low. The restaurant also good for breakfast or lunch.Close for Groningen with bike.

Little bungalo

First point is check the rules. I had to pay 15 euros per person extra as I didn't read the small print about bed sheets. To be honest I never booked a trip for 60 euros a night and had to bring my own sheets, but accept that was my mistake. The room we were assigned to had someone in there already so they moved us to another which as you can see was 11c, had no hot water to wash (judge the shower condition yourselves) and rooms have only one plug socket! After suffering in the cold for the night dressed in all my clothes to stay warm I wanted to check out as early as possible so I could get warm again, check out on Sunday was only available for 1 hour on Sundays from 10-11am so I needed to leave and come back to check out. I explained the disaster of the stay to the staff when leaving but had only an empty "oh sorry to hear that" as compensation. The trip was ruined from this hotel :(

Terrible experience 

The entrances to the bedrooms required all four of us (1.60 mt/ 1.70mt, including 2 childrens) to duck. Service standards are poor. Required to change a pillow ( because the youngest child vomited ): denied! It is difficult to (even) have a simple shower (antiquated and tiny shower in a tiny toilet.)

One Time Is Enough

For citizens of high density European cities, I can see the draw of this place. From a North American (Cnd) perspective, the place is cramped. The 15 standard huts are close together, and the entrances to the bedrooms required all four of us (including 13 and 15yr olds) to duck. Beware of warm weather, none of the windows open! As in much of Europe, service standards are odd: there is no front desk, you need to find one of the people in the restaurant to help you. Required linens, and it seemed a chore for the help to get the four bags (and one of them was only half full). We asked if there was a map of the place, or where we could go with the kids, and they said they had no map, and there was only a small playground in the middle of the huts. Later that day we went for a walk, and 10 minutes north is a very large beach with an expansive jungle gym! (perhaps a language issue, although I am fairly fluent in dutch). Wifi worked mostly in the huts, but sometimes only when on the front porch
