Quaint little hotel in the city centre. Choccies on the bed were a treat. Staff were nice. The early check in they allowed me was very appreciated.  Room/bed was comfy. It had all the facilities I needed and was clean. The window had no fly screen though which was annoying. 

Good Budget Option

Lovely little hotel right in heart of city centre.  Walking distance to everything.  Comfortable rooms with tea and coffee facilities.  English programmes on TV.  Lovely hotel bar at reasonable prices and very friendly owner who speaks fluent English.  Highly recommended and would stay again.

Lovely and highly recommended hotel

Just stayed the 1 night and wish it was more, from the moment you step into this friendly hotel , you feel relaxed.
We had a comfort room which was quite roomy and we had a view of the city, its the first hotel that also had 2 single duvets which was perfect as we have that at home. The hotel had a small bar and a lounge area. We had the breakfast where they cook to order any kind of eggs and they had , pastries, breads, cereal, yoghurts, fruits, meats and cheeses, you can help yourself to coffee , tea and juices. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough. Thank you.

Little Gem in the heart of Roosendaal

Stayed for a night, the breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The lobby has a modern look, the rooms look old but are well equipped. Lovely location with plenty of (free) parking nearby. Our friends had to wait for us to finish breakfast and the staff gave them a coffee on the house, which was a wonderful start of the day 😁

Good location, wonderful staff

We went to Roosendaal for a show at the Kring Theatre and chose a hotel as close as possible to the venue.  (It was less than 100m away!).  In fact the hotel we had chosen (more or less at random) was exceptionally good and the overall trip was much better as a result.  The room was well furnished, clean and had everything we needed.  The bar and reception was just as we would have liked it and the owners Kees and  Anne-Marie were very welcoming.

We will certainly go back to Hotel Tongerlo - and not necessarily because of a show at the theatre.

Excellent hotel in the centre of the town

This one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The decor is rich mahogany, with much attention paid to detail. Spotlessly clean. A superb locale. The owners and staff are there and meet any need. It really is a gorgeous hotel and overall a fantastic experience. I was left wondering why there aren't more hotels like this

I've stayed in 1 star to 5 star hotels in Europe, Asia, South and North America. This is a six star.

We were looking for a place to stay on Tripadvisor. This hotel was highly rated, and I have to join many of the other advisors to complement the staff. The atmosphere is welcomming, and you get the onstant feel of a familyhotel. There were commuters staying, and I can imagine the hotel may feel like a home away from home. The rooms are clean and spacious. Roosendaal is a very cosy little town, and I would like to come back here for a longer stay.

I booked this hotel to break our journey from the Chunnel to Alkmaar.
I was looking for a hotel with parking somewhere handy off the main road.
What we found was a wonderful surprise. Lovely hotel in the centre of Roosendaal next to the church. Excellent bar/restaurant area. Very comfortable room.
The best were our hosts, Case and Ann-Marie. They were so friendly and helpful.
We will stay there again - not just as a stopover!

Superb stop over

Very nice hotel just off the market square. Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent food and restaurant facilities. Nice bar for your "night cap". The market square "Blummentmarkt" is surrounded by bars and restaurants and the town is a very pleasant area to visit. On the day we arrived there were a lot of road closures, which made it difficult to get to the hotel using GPS. However Roosendaal is very worth a visit and this hotel is a must.
