Came here for a couple of drinks and decided to try a lamb kebab.it was very tasty reasonable priced and a nice different decor to the bars in the area.
It seems a popular place with plenty of staff,I would reccomend to give it a try and would come here again.

A nice Turkish snack

Popped in on Sunday morning for breakfast, I was not a guest at the hotel and the restaurant is next door to the reception. Firstly as you walk in it has a very Middle Eastern look. I was greeted at the door and shown to a table. I ordered the healthy breakfast option of Turkish yogurt with fruit salad, small glass of fresh orange juice and a slice of pumpernickel bread on the side. This was sufficient for me and very tasty. I followed this with fresh mint tea. All this for under €10. I thought good value and will go again.

Welcome breakfast 

Very unique and quirky hotel. Excellent rooms, so different to your standard hotel rooms. Maybe slightly noisy but thats from the main street outside and not the hotels fault. Very clean and comfortable. Staff all very friendly. Small fridge in room. No safe. Would definitely recommend. 

Unique Hotel 

Excellent location close to bars and restaurants! Lovely, helpful staff! Food and service out of this world! Accommodation bazar and quirky! Clean, tidy with room cleaned, sheets changed and towels replaced daily! Excellent value, but if you sharing room, be aware, no toilet/shower door! Only beads!!! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would certainly come back!

Great food great atmosphere 

So as you'll see there are plenty of very positive reviews, and there is plenty to like - the food is widely and rightly praised, however, be prepared for aesthetics over utility. Very poor signage - well actually sometimes none, you just have to guess which door to go through, I inadvertently ended up in the kitchen on one occasion.  Huge bedroom with a very turkish feel...the bathroom like a..well like a turkish bath. Nowhere was there a light sufficient to read by nor a table to sit and work at, the wifi was horribly intermittent, perhaps affected by the number of sequins on the bed cover, the wardrobe (wasn't... a wardrobe) it had some clothes hangers on a shelf, but no space to hang clothes (looked lovely mind). The whole room was so decorated and spangly that if you put anything down it disappeared and could take ages to find) for your entertainment I have added a photo of the bed spread on which there are two pens, a sweet, a set of hotel keys and a separate key ring - have fun finding them!). The staff were very friendly and I was brought a table and chair on request. Pillows are of the 'bolster' variety so quite impossible to rest your head on. When I asked for a sensible pillow I was told people often ask for one, but that they didn't have any! The toilet fit for a Persian prince, but you have to clamber over the raised bath in order to shut the shutters, and you usually only realise this when seated on the loo, realising that you are offering a perfect view to the building opposite.

If you think of going to the cafe restuarant to work, don't !  There are more spangly things there... The food is brilliant - seriously too much for breakfast, but you can ask for a take away which will feed you for the rest of the day!

So only come here if you prefer the outlandish over the practical, don't need to hang your clothes,dont want to read, don't mind losing things and have a very big appetite... one final gripe.. If you are going to make a feature of enormous mirrors please  hang them on the wall: left propped on the floor they give the impression that you are in an exotic second hand shop... and while you're at it a coat hook would be great too. 

It sounds like I don't like the place, actually I do.. in the end you fall in love with it - but there are a lot of things that could be improved.

Bizarre

Had my dinner with my friend ohhh the food was just amazing and we were served in a good time after we ordered that meal for two was just massive and filling indeed, the right food we needed at that time.

Came here for lunch. Took lunch for two persons. Were very pleased about The portion of it. Food was very tasty and The service is nice. CaMe here at lunch time, kind of busy time, but food was delivered in less than 10minutes. Amazing. You should visit this place if you are staying near.

The hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam, perfect! Amongst restaurants/bars. We didn't experience any noise at night from street. The hotel is richly decorated, Turkisch theme, colours, lamps everywhere! Very nicely done. Staff is super friendly and breakfast is huge! Free WiFi and they offer a discount on parking,  they have a deal with parking garage around the corner called Westblaak! Rotterdam is a great city and Hotel Bazar a great place to start!

Bazar hotel, a great find in Rotterdam!

Stayed at this hotel for one night buring a business trip. It’s wonderfully decorated and quirky. The room was very spacious, although sometimes a bit noisy due to noise coming from the hallway because of the heavy metal doors of the flanking rooms. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Middle Eastern breakfast is included and it’s great, but it comes with meat so mention beforehand if you are vegetarian. All in all, I had a good stay and would come back. Definitely good value for money.
