I stayed in the top floor rooms the room was filthy, the room was not cleaned any time I was there, every night I had bites all over my body. the place should be shut down, the carpet had great big rips in it two towels had to last one week .the room smelt. I dredded going back to the room at night it was just a flea pit

First I'd like to state that I'm not a fancy person, I always stay into the cheapest hotels available. But this one was just awful. The cigarette smell in the room was really strong, everything was dirty, the floor, the walls, the ceiling, the lamps, the tv, the bathroom, the windows, the bed sheets, the pillows and the blanket. You could clearly see the spots on the bed sheets, so it was really disgusting. There were pieces of Styrofoam under the bed, so I feel like the room hasn't been cleaned since they brought that bed inside. You can hear the noises from all the other rooms, walking, sneezing, just everything. I felt really sorry that we had to spend the night there. I added several pictures so you'll know what I'm talking about.

Dirty and Expensive

The owner smokes and allows smoking throughout the hotel which is illegal in Holland: "The smoking of tobacco is prohibited by law in all public buildings and in public transport. As of 1 January 2004 every employee has the right to work in a smoke-free environment."

Everything in my room stank of smoke, and all my belongings then smelt of smoke too. My eyes, throat, and lungs are now very sore as well as I am very sensitive to smoke.

On Sunday, there was no hot water in the morning, and when I asked at reception for the hotel owner to fix it, I was told that it would probably be fixed in an hour. No apology was made. When I returned four hours later, I was told the water was still not fixed but would probably be fixed in another twenty minutes. Still no apology was offered. Hot water was eventually available that evening.

The overall state of the hotel was very poor, with stained and damaged fixtures and fittings and poor sound insulation as well. 

Avoid! Cheapness is not worth it.
