Rented a 4 person design bungalow. Stayed for 1 week.
Likes: 
- friendly and very helpfull owners
- campsite is small and quiet
- accomodations are fairly new and upkeep is good. They have a beach look which I like
- accomodation was fully equiped (including brush for the dishes, dish soap and dish washer tablets, sheets and towels). However, this is not clearly displayed on booking so I carried all these with me for nothing)
- kitchen well equipped. Enough knives and they were sharp. 
- it is in a rural area, and because of this there are lots of beautiful places close by
- beach within 10 minutes by bike, but 45 minute walk (in the burning sun, there is no shade on the way)
- playground for the kids including go karts, although it is extremely close to the main road through the campsite, so it can be dangerous. Also, one of the houses is almost on the playground. If little one wantend to play, we could literally follow the conversation from the inhabitants of this house, and their dog peed (and who knows what else) near the playground.
- you can order fresh Bread each morning
- bike rent
- upon arrival there were two brochures in the bungalow on activities in the surrounding area

Didn’t like:
- no curtains in the bedrooms. Only shutters, that leave a gap between the window frame, and that can not be fully closed. Bedroom is never really dark because of this, so we woke up at six every morning because of the light
- beds were extremely creaky. On an average night I woke up three times when my husband turned over. It sounded like popping bubble wrap...
- water temperature in the shower was changing every minute.
- baby bed for Little One was free (like) but there was no place to fit it in the spare bedroom. We had to put one of the bed frames to its side to make it fit. Linnen for the bed was not offered (matress cover)
- baby bed did not come with separate matress, the one belonging with the bed was quite thin and creaky.
- houses are quite close together. 

One should note that the small village of Sint Maartenszee has 4 or so restaurants and a super market (which had a supply problem when we were there). It is 10 minutes by bike from the campsite. Closest bigger city is Schagen, 15 minutes by car. 

I do recommend this place. Take your bike with you or rent one here to make your stay extra comfortable!



Recommended if you like rural campsite!

We rented a chalet for 6 nights and were very satisfied. The resort is quiet, very family friendly. Dogs are also allowed. The owner is nice and not intrusive at all. The chalet was equipped with everything you need as a self-service: kitchen, washing machine, 2 bathroom besides shower, a comfortable couch, 2 TVs, 4 beds and this in about 30 sqm. Moreover, we had a beautiful spacious terrace where we had breakfast. The beach is about 5-7 minutes away by car. Alkmaar is about 10 minutes away. The resort is more suitable for families with children or/and dogs. For people who want to party together as well as the resort is quite unsuitable for the whole place.

Comfortable Glamping with Family

The cottage for 6 people is perfectly equipped for a short vacation and is also large enough and very, very clean! A three-week vacation in the cottage with 6 people I can't imagine - too small and too bright! (You really hear every pup at night!)...from outside you hardly hear anything - very quiet park! In the kitchen there are all the necessary utensils (except a large bowl for salad etc.), washing machine, bakery, coffee machine, etc. Everything is modern etc. Practically furnished. The three-legged living room tables are quick to kick around - for that you are beautiful and fit. (Nix for many children!) This is modern and enough!

Modern, clean, child-friendly and also dog-friendly!

We had a beach bungalow for 4 people... very modern, equipped with everything you need. Very dog-friendly and one and checking out is easy - you get an e-mail, you can have to check in directly to the bungalow without contacting the reception. When checking out, you just leave the key in the bungalow and leave. From here in 10-20 minutes by car at various beaches where dogs can move freely from October. After Alkmaar, within 30 minutes, Zaandvort, Harlem, Berne an Zee and Amsterdam within 1 hour easily reach. Top point for self-catering.

A good stay

We spent four days this late summer in one of the six-person bungalows. The accommodation was perfectly clean and very well equipped. The campsite/glamping area is very quiet and is located between beautiful flower fields. The journey to the beautiful beach takes about 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly. We are satisfied all around.

Modern, clean chalets

We had a chalet with a double bedroom, shower and toilet, and a smaller bedroom with a bed where you could move a bed down below, but then it was already a bit narrow. Also in this room there was a nice little bathroom with shower and toilet.The kitchen and living room were modern and there was nothing missing! There was also a nice large terrace equipped with furniture.A one-way wind and vision protection would still have been great.To the beach you have to ride a bicycle or a car, it is a bit far away.We were expecting a delicious gift.I also found the bed linen, hand washes and laundry.
