I stayed for 4 nights whilst in holland for work, the room was clean enough and then bed were quite comfortable to be fair. Although I was only really ever in the hotel to sleep it would have been nice to see someone once or twice, I only saw the owner when I checked in and checked out and the restaurant was not open once. WIFI didn't work for the first 2 days and when it did it is very slow. If your in holland for work and only enter the hotel to sleep then it does the job, if your on vacation look else where.

Get what you pay for

Friendly reception. Cleanliness of the room was not great, but bath room was clean. Dust on the floors and tables, beds not particularly clean. Rooms used to be smoking rooms and the smell still lingers. The rooms are a bit worn out, especially the matresses. Nevertheless for the location and the price of the rooms, it's good value for money.

Not clean but value for money

I booked out rooms from booking.com I travel often and this is the first time I was disappointed. First when we got to the hotel we had to call the number on the door for someone to come open the door. The lady that came was very nice I do want to say that. There is no reception desk we checked in at the bar which was closed. The website gave us one price but the lady informed us the price is 25, EUR more. She said the site list the price for a single room, but it fails to tell people is 2, EUR per person staying in the room and extra for breakfast.  The lady then told us we would have to pay in cash luckily we had cash because there is no bank or atm around the hotel.  Since there were only three of us we got a double room and a single room. The single room had a lamp on the window ledge, a closet with no hangers and a bed. The double room had two beds, a closet with hanger, a small table and a tiny TV that did not work. The pictures on the site were much different from how the rooms look. The rooms used key locks and if we left the hotel we had to lock the door behind us.  The restaurant looks nothing like the pictures it wasn’t even open for us to eat lunch or dinner. Needless to say although the location was ideal for us my family and I would not stay there again.

Disappointing

For a nice place, its so sad... Poor service and place not welcoming. For someone with experience in the hospitality industry, this place could be a very nice place and great attraction since it is next to the train station and it would surely get more customers with the proper management of the place. Poor customer service, i think the people concern should look into this, if they really want to keep customers, instead of people going there and never comes back... So sad, heart broken to see such a nice place to be like that.

Horrible

We had booked this hotel months in advance through a major hotelbooking site. A few days ahead I called and emailed the hotel to settle a few questions. I never received a response from a representative of the hotel and suddenly, the day before I was leaving my home country, the hotel cancelled due to a bed bug plague. Luckily the booking site responded and relocated our party to a decent hotel.
Obviously not an option not now or ever for my trips to Holland!
