Really nice Hostel and staff. I arrived with my bike late in the evening and I could park my bike in a locked area. The facilities where clean and the bed quite comfortable. Only the light switch in my room was a bit difficult to find in the dark with only your phone as a pocket lamp because it was located a little bit further in the room and not right at the door. But once you knew where it is it was no problem at all. 
Because I was visiting this place by my own I engaged in a talk with the owner and friends of his at the bar and had a great talk with them for hours. 
I genuinely enjoyed my stay here! If I ever come back to the general area I will probably stay here again. 



Overnight stay 

We were a group of 14 staying in the area for a cycling tour. Accommodation facilities were very basic but clean. The bar and leisure facilities were excellent. The staff were very accommodating and attentive - we also arranged a BBQ for our first evening which was of excellent quality. I would recommend this for any large groups looking for well located budget accommodation. 

Cycle Tour

I have to say in all the places I have been both on school trips and travelling, I have never come across such rude and snotty staff. I talk of the office, desk and owener. The kitchen staff were very welcoming and accomadating. We took a group of 53 students to this place. The facilities surrounding the place was brilliant but the staff were absolutely horrible to our students. They chose to listen to another school group that was staying at the same time and was extremely biased towards the other school. For example, our students were simply bouncing a ball causing no damage to malice to anyone at 7pm. The other school were having a disco until 11pm and the leader decided to complain the the owner about the noise of the ball . The owner then went up to our students and took the ball of them aggressively. Other staff were rude to our students and wouldn't let our students hire out a bike because "she said so". The staff would be really friendly with the other groups saying goodnight , sleep well etc but would not even look at us. Our students were slightly noisy but caused no damage or malice at night. What do they expect of excited teenagers going away with their friends. These staff need to understand manners, different cultures and basic respect. I will never ever take another group of studnets to this place . They were discriminatating towards our students. Their staff were a complete disgrace.
