Ground floor apartment is massive. Large livingroom/dining room. 1 bedroom on ground level, toilet and kitchen on same level. Then you have a spiral staircase to lower level which has a large showroom/toilet then has a large bedroom at the other end of the hall. Apartment is spotless.

My friend book it through booking.com for 4 people for 4 nights. We paid €1230 but when we left we had to pay another €200 the owner didn't give us any paperwork to explain why we had to do this 

Great apartment

The location of the boarding house is very central. The supermarket, the town centre, the train station and the beach are all within walking distance. There are many places with some regional dishes that taste very good. The services are set to German guests.

Friendly landlord, small comfortable rooms

I have stayed here twice now as we go to Zandvoort every year. I have stayed in the room upstairs at the front with the huge balcony and the room at the back, no balcony but a very large room with great views of the garden out back and you can people watch at the train station.  Firstly with this accomodations it is 2 mins from the train station which is great for carrying your stuff to your apartment and also for venturing out about by train, cab or bus. It is about an hour from Amsterdam but an easy journey and about 20mins from Harleem which is a lovely town to visit. 
The rooms in Pension Moletja are fabulous they are really well equipt with self catering facilitiies and have lots of space The room at the back has two large wardrobes and a hairdryer which the front room doesnt but the balcony makes up for it. They are also modern and spotless. Marcel the owner will give you fresh towels etc whenever you need, he is very friendly and approachable and happy to help with anything you need.  Even though I have only stayed in the two different rooms this year he showed us round the downstairs basement rooms which were also amazing, it doesnt matter what room you get you won't be disspointed. There is a great garden area at the back and a seating area out the front to watch the world go by. 
Pension Monlentja is a 5 min walk to the center of town but there are shops, bars and restuarants on the way. There are also two large, cheap supermarkets in the town. The people of Zandvoort are the friendliest people ever.  I may well retire there one day. However at the moment we come every year for a festival. 
The beach is 5 mins walk if that away and is clean and safe. There are miles of beach each with its own vibe. Bars and cafes all along the beach front. It is a very peaceful town though not for the party gooers, unless you go when there is a festival on one of the beaches. 
We have made some really good friends here and hopefully Marcel will have us back again soon. 100% reccoment Pension Molentja. 
My top tips:
1) You can't pay with card 
2) Bearing in mind there is no reception and Marcel pops in and out (although always reachable by phone/ text) the main door takes some getting used to. The first year we stayed neither me or my firend could ever get in and had to ask passers by for help.  This year we have it sussed pull the door towards you tight and turn the key alllllll the way to left.

Great place, spotless and spacious and great owners

We had one of the basement studios.  It was well equipped and comfortable.  Access to the beautiful backyard was enjoyed as we ate our meals outside and read on the comfortable furniture.  Marcel even let us use the laundry facilities.  It backs onto the train station but you would never have known as it was not noisy at all.  Only downfall was that we thought we could pay with a credit card and he asked for cash (we paid at check out).

Great Pension!

We were very short-lived guests for 2 nights in the 't Molentje over the New Year and can recommend a pension to all future guests without any concerns. The contact with Marcel (the owner) was very pleasant and our room (the studio with the marquee) was clean and stylishly furnished. We felt very comfortable. That the house is a little bright is normal for Dutch conditions, it did not affect our overall impression - but we should mention:). We would have closed ourselves in and extended the stay with the owner - perhaps at the next few minutes.

Satisfied all around

We consciously decided to stay in Zandvoort, as we attended a three-day festival in Bloemendaal aan Zee. From the airport you can quickly take the train to Zandvoort, you only have to cross once to Amsterdam Zuid. The apartment is only 600 metres from the Zandvoort train station. Check-in in the apartment was uncomplicated. You received a room key and were led directly to the room by Marcel, the owner of the apartment through a staircase. Everything was very clean and modern. Especially comfortable was the in-room shower and free W-Lan. The owners were free to go and help. Cash was exchanged for the handbags. Kitchen was in hand, which was also possible for the apartment, but we would not like to book everything in advance.
