Booked in error via Booking.com as their location services misplaced me. Immediately cancelled and emailed hotel but no reply and still charged in full. No reply to further attempts at contact. Having studied other reviews I would not recommend these people. They give the Dutch a bad name.

There are nicer people out there; lots in Holland.

The Pension Zee was close to everything we wanted to see! Upon arrival we were dressed down that we did not tell her we had cars and reluctantly the owner gave us parking tags. Being from NorthAmerica how would you know? The Breakfasts were awesome, fresh, and tasty! The decor including the bedspread, pillows, and mattress need to be refreshed only adequate. The best part was the front porch the only common place to sit other than your bed in your room. Good thing it was a nice day!

Like everytime it was very spontanous. We were there only at 21:00 but it was not a problem. Room was nice, only bathroom could be bigger. Becouse of small sizes, after showering everything in bathroom was wet.  Every morning we had great breakfest in room at 9:15 and after few days we felt us like at home. Parking was for free near apartments (ask for it).

The owner was impolite, bossy and did not respect our privacy. She keeps telling us what to do and what not to do.
The breakfast was served at 9 am and we had to finish it before 10 am.  The breakfast was not fresh and looked like it was prepared the night before. The building was very old and we could hear every one easily and had to keep quite. The floor was wooden and we had to tiptoe all the time.
The bed sheets were torn and all furniture was so old that they could break easily.
The toilet and shower was so small that we could hardly move. 
Almost all guests were German.

Dissapointing

we stayed here for 4 nights as we attended the  Zandvoort Historic Grand Prix. The room we had { As in the picture above} was on the {very} small side, which would have bee fine for one night, but more than a touch claustrophobic for 4 nights.
The bed was comfy, and the ensuite complete  with shower, loo and tiny basin was manageable only  with one person at the time. It was very small..
Breakfast was served in the room each morning which was very nice.  One morning with boiled eggs,the next with scrambled and of course with  the selection of cold meats and cheeses; also with yogurts, selection of breads and rolls, orange juice and good coffee.
Very nice too!!
The lady who runs the B&B is sweet and helpful. I never did get to know her name ..
Hopefully we'll be back again next year for 4 or so nights, but only in a bigger room!!
