The Korenhorst is a beautiful guesthouse. We have stayed on a number of occasions over the years. The setting overlooking a lovely large garden at the back and fields to the front is peaceful and relaxing. Pim, is a very attentive host and he provides a delicious breakfast and even sandwich bags that allow guests to make a packed lunch. Bedrooms are spacious and furnished tastefully and the apartment with its own parking space and access to both garden and the main house provides a degree of privacy and the facility to prepare an evening meal. The garden is stunning and in nice weather it is lovely to spend some time just chilling on a lounger. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Perfect guesthouse

We are staying for just a couple of days, but will return for a week or more on our next trip to the Netherlands.  Pim, the owner, prepares an amazing breakfast and welcomes his residents to think of the property as their home.  Our ground floor apartment was light and clean, the kitchen had everything one could want for cooking.  Internet, TV with English channels, and beautiful ground and terraces, beautiful birds and views of the surrounding farms and fields.  This is a very quiet and comfortable place.

Wonderful B&B

I have been visiting the Korenhorst over more than 10 years and consider myself at home there. The environment is absolutely amazing. The garden offers space, privacy and a variety of flowers, fruittrees... The Host has created an oasis for coming back after all kind of activities ... Activities could be Horse riding (stables available), hiking, (mountain) biking (1 of the top 3 trails in the Netherlands) .. Or shopping (Arnhem 20 min and Dusseldorf 1 hr away) The rooms are decorated with a romantic touch, classical beds, tv. Not all of them have shower, there is even an apartment available. Breakfast is to say 'wow' ... Name it and it is there. Lunch and dinner always with Home made soups and varieties of fish, meat and 'on request' .. I keep coming back for the personal touch and the spacious environment

'Little France' in The Netherlands

The Korenhorst is a very nice and peaceful place in the Montferland Area. I had personal business near the guesthouse, therefore I only stayed there for one night. Nevertheless, I had a very positive experience. Rooms are large and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Overall, it's quiet, clean and tidy. The Innkeeper (Pim) is friendly, and prepared an extensive breakfast including coffee, tea, juices, cheese, meats, eggs, buns and croissants. Overall, highly recommended.
