Stayed one night at Annie's Loft - it was fantastic. The space was exceeded our expectations. Lunch at Black Estate followed by a night here was the perfect experience. The owner kindly gave us a bottle of his wine as well. The continental breakfast supplied was excellent. We will definitely be back again, thankyou to the hosts,

So Relaxing !!!

Wonderful welcome to a beautiful peaceful and spacious  place . Felt very spoilt with wine and nibbles on arrival and a good breakfast for the next morning. Wished we would have had longer to appreciate the sunny peaceful garden and pool and local vineyards.

Wished we could have stayed longer

We stayed here for a night on our way up to Blenheim and we had a great time. Our hosts were fab even offering us a free bottle of the wine from their vineyard as well as cheese and crackers in our room. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable. We spent the day visiting local vineyards and the evening swimming in the pool and using the BBQ before sitting on our private deck and enjoying the fabulous views. It’s so peaceful here we feel properly relaxed and ready for our next adventure. Thank you Brian for your hospitality. 

Fabulous rustic charm

We stayed in the loft last night and we were really happy with everything the loft had to offer we would have liked to use this accommodation as a base to explore the area.  It is well maintained has everything you need and a swimming pool. We sat outside at dusk drinking the free wine our hosts had given us it was warm quiet and peaceful, we couldn’t ask for anything else. It was our type of accommodation

Wish we could have stayed for a week

On our way from Picton to Punakaiki we stayed here for one night and we have been sad that we had to leave next morning. We stayed in the Riesling Room, a cosy room with a nice outside sitting area. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and the peacefulness inmidst of vineyards and tasted beautiful wines with our hosts. 
We are from Germany and when we are in this area again, we will come back to this retreat.

Cosy stay in beautiful surroundings

It was 3 of us and we shared two bedroom appartment. Our stay exceed our expectations. The location is perfect, as all wineries are in a short driving ride. The house itself is amazing. The owner's live in the same house but it is huge and the entrance doors are separated. 
The garden is just beautiful, big swimming pool which you are allowed to use anytime, with beatch towels, sitting area, outdoor changing room and toilet. There is also big barbecue place, which we used in the evening. A lot of sitting areas and places around the house. At night there is a complete silence, so you can be sure you can sleep without any disturb. 

Our two bedroom apartment was very well equipped, there was a small kitchenette - be careful, there is no oven or stove - but you can always use barbecue outside. There is microwave with different functions so we were able to boil the potatoes in there. We did not even expect there are going to be different juices, cereals, yoghurts, fruit and homemade cake. All very delicious. What more, we got a bottle of wine from the house owner. 

If ever coming again to Waipara, we would stay there again and for more nights. 
Can highly recommend it to everyone. If you read dthe description carefully and you are aware of the fact that it is in the middle of countryside and wineries, you cannot be disappointed.

Relaxing place to unwind while exploring wineries

The studio is up a very steep set of stairs which opens to a bedroom on the left and a bathroom, living area and kitchen to the right.  It is not close to any restaurant/cafe, and the kitchen only has a microwave with no instructions- it only worked on “express” whatever that is! There are jars of unlabelled cereals, apple juice in the fridge,  loaf of Vogel sunflower bread and a few small plastic bits of vegemite honey and peanut butter- not very appealing for $250 per night! There are no instructions for the TV- one in bedroom and one in lounge area so we were only able to use the lounge one- the bedroom TV had no sound. Look it’s a nice place in an okay location but if you are visiting for Vineyard lunches it is not the location for you!!

Vineyard exploration 

We were impressed with the spacious and clean brand new loft space, with all the goodies like underfloor heating in the bathroom, fantastic views and super comfortable
king size double bed.
Very quiet and peaceful in the Waipara countryside. NIce facilities and a good DIY continental breakfast.

Great location and luxury accommodation in Waipara

We stayed a couple of nights in the Studio Room of this beautiful property - surrounded by vineyards and trees. A very comfortable room with all stylish amenities, and the hosts are wonderful! There was a lovely friendly greeting, and a steady supply of food including hot scones! A brilliant place to stay. Very highly recommended.
