We have just returned home from a wonderful holiday in Cromwell, apart from the weather which was a lot of rain. This was our first time staying in a B n B and we loved every minute of it. Kitty was an amazing host and cooked the most beautiful breakfasts. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable bed, great conversation and privacy if you want it,

Home away from Home but better

We’ve stayed at this beautiful home before so we just had to stay again even if just for one night this time. Kitty, the owner is such a lovely welcoming lady and makes great breakfasts. The rooms are spacious with balconies and have everything you need including fresh milk for that early morning cuppa. We just love this place and hope to visit again

Last night in NZ

We stayed here in 2018 in the suite.  Unfortunately it was booked this time so we stayed in one of the other bedrooms which was beautifully appointed and large.  Kitty met us at the door and showed us around.  She is a wonderful host and I can’t recommend her establishment enough.  We enjoyed the cooked breakfast and met her sons who were also charming.  We will definitely stay here if we travel this way again.  Thank you Kitty.

Still outstanding

Kitty welcomed us in such a friendly manner and couldn't do enough to help us. Our studio room was so spacious with stunning mountain views. The double large shower was a real luxury. The full breakfast of fresh fruit salad muesli yoghurt was fab followed with a delightful cooked breakfast so we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. I would recommend this place to any of my friends as it ticked all our boxes of excellence, comfort cleanliness etc.

Awesome,relaxing and welcoming Home stay probably and the best we've had yet.

Wow! This is one of the best locations and most comfortable Bed n Breakfasts ever. Stunning room with gorgeous views, very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and a hostess who cannot do enough for you.  We will be back. Five star establishment. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Fabulous place to stay

We had never done a home stay prior to this experience - it was so nice! Our host Kitty made us feel comfortable and had some good suggestions on what to do whilst in Cromwell. The breakfast she made was also delicious! Highly recommend 

Beautiful Home Stay

We stayed in little firewood creek (detached from main house) which is spacious, private and very comfortable.  Kitty prepares a perfect breakfast in the main building and is a great host and very knowledgeable of the area and things to do. 

There are two wineries 5 min walk away and a several more 10 to 20 min walk and there are restaurants and pubs only 10 min walk.

We felt like extended family staying with kitty and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay in Cromwell

Nice room, nice shower and nice breakfast. It is my favourite stay during my New Zealand trip. The breakfast is well prepared. The shower is the best! The place is quite near to Cromwell Golf club and the main road.

My dream house 

I enjoyed my stay at Firewood Creek. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the host, Kitty, went out of her way to make it a pleasant visit. The breakfasts were tasty, and the decor fresh ad attractive. The location was also excellent and convenient to restaurants and shops, even though I didn't have a motor vehicle. The accommodation was set in a pleasant garden with pleasant view od snow covered mountains at the time I was there. I would recommend Firwood Crek to anyone visiting Otago.
