We stayed two days at this B&B, which is a self contained one. There were no host
welcoming us, just other guests. We were informed upfront about our room, which was
big enough for two people, clean with access to the garden. So, virtually it had two entrances. Breakfast is on your own, we used the kitchen only for tea making, as we preferred to have breakfast in Queenstown. The B&B is good to find and pretty close
to the airport (approx. 15 mins by car) in a really quiet area. Time to Queenstown is approx. 20 mins by car, depending on the route you are taking. Overall a good B&B.
I would come back if in Queenstown area.

Good B&B

Let's make it clear that it is not a hotel or motel or anything. It is somehow like Airbnb house sharing. There are total 4 rooms. One has a garden view with bathroom inside the room. Another room (Queenstown) has mountain view with reserved bathroom which mean you do not need to share with other people; however, you still need to step out from your room to access to the toilet as it is not inside your room. The other two rooms have shared bathroom and toilet. Don't forget there is no reception or check-in counter and it is selfed check-in. It is better to contact them before you arrive to confirm your room name so that you can staring go into your room when you reach there. We arrived there about 4 PM and there was nobody. We had to call them to confirm our room. Every morning there is housekeeping for the common area only and she would collect the old towel and give you a new one. The good thing about this is very quiet and cozy. You would feel like you are staying at your own farmhouse. My wife and I enjoyed staying there as we love quiet, cozy environment as we are from the busy city. Furthermore, we love the view. Overall, we had a good time there except it is middle of nowhere and toilet is not inside the room. Besides, it is sort of expensive for this type of room.

Peaceful stay with mountainous scenery

No one here to check us in access through a garage. Room was OK but biggest problem is all the noise all night it is 12.21 in the middle of night and someone is working in garage and having a shower. No breakfast, overcharged as advertised price and can't pay in the morning as owner is away skiing early.Unprofessional would never go back and not recommended to anyone 

Terrible 

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our main issue was that we had to share a bathroom. It said on the website that kitchen & lounge areas were shared but  there was not anything about bathrooms. There seemed to be quite a bit of work going on at the property. Hopefully they will make some kind of provision for en suites, It looked like there was room. Also there wasn't even a mirror in our room. The property was clean enough although shared areas left a lot to be desired. The website said that there was a maid service but our room wasn't cleaned once during our stay. The guy we dealt with at the property (Johnny) was friendly but didn't seem to be concerned when we said we were not happy about sharing a bathroom. My son was in a twin room (this looked to be the only en suite) and johnny said we could share this bathroom if we didn't want to share the main bathroom. We felt it was quite expensive for what it was. Might be better marketed as rooms within a shared property rather than a hotel. 

South Island trip 

We stayed here for 3 nights in an ensuite bedroom. The house is at a quiet location between Arrowtown and Queenstown. Queenstown is a 15-20 minute drive. The room is spacious and you can also use the kitchen, living room and garden. The house is owned by a Chinese guy and a concierge runs the place. The concierge is not always there, so make sure you have a phone number at hand. The only serious concern I have with this place is the cleanliness of especially the kitchen. The cabinets and the floor where so greasy that I didn’t feel like cooking. The kitchen obviously had not been cleaned for weeks. Should they improve the cleanliness, this might be a good option to stay outside Queenstown.
