Overnight stay at this lovely BnB in early May. Very comfortable and friendly hosts. The entry to the property is a little tricky first time but the setting more than made up for the missed gateway on a busy road. Just what we needed on our way north.🤗

Relaxed setting for a restful stay

This is unamazing enclave of tranquility in overpopulated North Auckland. Handy to business center's, beaches, stadiums, etc. The hosts are delightfully helpful, the accommodation is superb and the garden has amazing walks to the 'jungle' and lake. An unexpected pleasure to recharge the batteries.

An enclave of tranquility 

A very pleasant stopover, everything provided, friendly hosts plus beautiful setting.
Suitable for one couple as space is limited but the small conservatory allowed sitting space.  The large landscaped garden was a bonus, especially the landing for swan-watching.

An oasis of calm in a busy area.

We had a small room with a queen bed and ensuite.
There was a small conservatory attached which gave a bit more space.
The room is small but the conservatory adds enough space to not feel cramped. 
The gardens are huge and you can wander at will.
Plenty of parking and the whole property is secure being quite a way off the road.
Very quiet and peaceful.
Clean and tidy.
The owners are very nice, friendly people.

Nice and quiet

We chose Silverdale as it was a relatively short drive from Auckland Airport after our flight. It provided a good point to then head further further north. Selwyn and Dellis are the perfect, welcoming  hosts. The room was spotless and comfortable. While the sleeping area is tight there is a conservatory attached that provides an excellent space to relax, unwind and eat. A good selection is supplied for breakfast too with cereal, juices, bread, jams and yogurts to choose from.
 
The gardens are huge and you are free to wander around this beautiful space. There are restaurants within a short drive so you will not starve.
The hosts provided excellent instructions on how to find their little hidden gem which removes some of the stress when travelling in unfamiliar areas.

Perfect For A Short Stay

My sister and her hubby myself and hubby decided to try B&B. What a great place to stay. Beaut hosts and lovely gardens. Out of the hustle and bustle of Auckland. Recommend to anyone wanting to stay out of the city

Lovely 

"What a lovely place this is to stay" The caravan i stayed in was adequate for my needs and set amongst beautiful views with a spacious bed and plenty of storage space.The water was nice and hot too when taking a shower or just washing up the dishes. There was coffee,tea,sugar & cereals in the cupboard & milk,bread & fruit juice in the fridge. Silverdale shopping center was a short drive away were you can pick up almost anything you may need. Food,clothing,shoes,souvenirs or even a take-away. The grounds at Siverdale B&B are very well kept and tranquil and i was surrounded by bird song throughout the day & evening which was lovely to hear. The owners Selwyn & Dellis were very welcoming and helpful too with directions and recommendations of were to shop or visit. If the chance arises for me to visit N.Z. again, Silverdale b&b will be my number 1 choice.

New-Zealand Visit

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were awesome and Dellis and Selwyn have thought of every little comfort a traveller may need. I loved all the special little touches that you don't find staying in motels. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was awesome. There was a great variety of breakfast to choose from. Lovely gardens that you could spend hours admiring.
Also there is a lovely shopping centre about 2 mins away, and so close to Orewa (5 mins). If you read the location information given to you carefully, you will have no trouble finding the address. Thanks for sharing such a lovely comfortable home! I will definitely recommend your place to anyone heading your way.

A surprising find!

Stayed here on way back from a tour of Northland. Couldn't fault a thing, had a wonderful welcome from Dollis, Selwyn & Edna.....
Made to feel like part of the Family. 
Facilities are top quality & the grounds are amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hidden away gem

We chose the onsite caravan for our night stay and it was the best overnight stay we have had for a very long time. It was reasonably priced, clean and spacious in a beautiful setting. Hosts were very friendly, encouraging and informative.
