Very lovely cosy and clean rooms good location also has a handy laundry, and great pool and spa, good car parks outside of rooms and very welcoming an helpful hostess we will definitely be back thanks 

Perfect

Extremely cold experience.  I needed fully clothed (including shoes, jacket, beanie) in order to manage the stay.  Only one very inadequate heater portable supplied for the whole unit which could barely heat a 1 meter perimeter around itself; it did nothing to warm the very large unit.
There was also a mysterious circular hole in the wall which was packed with curtain fabric which surely didn't help very much on the heating front.. The owners need to spend a night here before blindly offering this to clients.

However I can't give them a one star review because the unit was tidy, the shower had hot water, and there were enough blankets for a decent sleep. 

Not a place for a winter stay

Rooms very clean and tidy my wife said the cleaner was a Rae of sunshine very helpful and took great care of my family and our room. The admin weren't very nice or helpful at all and my family got alot of not nice stars from there family very uncomftable but thanx to Toni who cleaned our room beautifully and made my family feel welcomed Thank you Toni you and your children were very helpful and respectful. Didn't like the fact that the admin staff didn't follow and have the skills in customer service that their cleaner had. When arriving back to the room when the reception lady serviced our room wasn't very clean and the bed wasn't made very well bench wasn't polished my wife had to clean the room but once again Toni the cleaner came to the rescue at 9 at night so my wife could relax. 100% for cleaner,room 1% for admin very rude speaking in there language when my wife first got to the motel without the cleaner motel would not be my choice at all. cleaner *****



CLEANER 5 STAR ADMIN 0 STAR

We only stayed for one night but would def stay again.
Our room was huge, the kids enjoyed the playground and were keen to go to pool and spa.
The staff are so lovely and the grounds are well kept.

We stayed in the lge family/wheelchair accessible room, so large shower and toilet rooms etc

Wonderful staff, comfortable stay

We stayed for one night. 
Although the units are tired looking, they were absolutely immaculate. 
The bedding/utensils etc were super clean. 
The hosts were friendly and nothing was too much bother for them. 
No noise between units as they are solidly built. Very little road noise. 
Large TV with a SKY Movies and Sport  kept children happy!
Convenient washer and dryer, which is $2 for wash and $2 to dry which is really good.
We took milk, but owner said milk on first day was included in the price. Worth knowing this in future. Free tea (good brand) and coffee, and plunger coffee, but no hot chocolate. Free internet.
Had a great nights sleep!

Motel is at south end of the town adjacent to the state highway, but there was little road noise.  Not the most modern motel but is comfortable and has all you need for a night or two.  Free wifi and parking in front of unit.    Swimming pool would be a plus if staying in summer months,

Cozy Country Motel

Good very clean family motel for a stay of four nights. It's an older built motel but the walls between rooms are solid brick so there is no noise at all from adjoining rooms.  Excellent car parking outside each room, so the car is a few steps away from the room, easy to pack and unpack luggage.  All ground level, including the shower. Large playground for the kids with swimming pool, two trampolines and a swing. Our room, number 5, backed onto the next door garden nursery driveway, so there was no noise at night time.  A good value motel.

Good location and facilities for 2019 Wings over Wairarapa air show

After just over a year of the new owners taking over there are changes being made. It would appear that some painting has been done as the walls look fresher. I'm told that new carpet is next on the agenda. The bathroom and kitchen still very dated but for the price being charged and the overall cleanliness good service from the hosts, these matters are over looked, easily. We keep coming back, so that says it all, I think.

A Midwinter Break

A basic nz motel with a friendly host,Very clean and unit 10 the family unit is great value at the price,full kitchen and dishwasher.Only downer,it needs a heat pump.Veryhandy to town and easy to find.swimming pool but weather poor
