We had three nights here.  The gravel driveway populated by cows masks the gorgeous quality of the villas as you reach the top of the hill.  

We stayed in the highest of three villas, each with there own large yard.  Three roomy clean bedrooms are reflective of only being three years new.  Extremely well maintained by private owners who are not on site, but easily contactable. 

The units overlook 180 degree ocean views, and 180 degree farm and bush views.   BBQ area also overlooks the water.  Good kitchen and laundry facilities allow you to stay on site if you just want to take it easy for a few days. 

Unbeatable Views

There are two beautifully appointed villas, one a two bedroom the other a three bedroom,  perched on top of the cliff overlooking Rings Beach in Kuaotunu on this tranquil, private rural property, with an approximately 900m gravel driveway from the gate.

There is a shared BBQ and a swing and the views from it are stunning.

We stayed for 5 nights in March 2016 in the two bedroom villa. It is beautifully maintained and comfortable, just like someone's brand new home. A bottle of wine was waiting for us in the well equipped kitchen. There were two bedrooms, plus a bathroom with laundry facilities.

The only way we could improve on our wonderful experience, is to have had better instructions for the TV and the DVD player, plus a better set up of the free WiFi connection, all of which could be achieved with very little effort.

Provisions are required for anyone staying here, as the only place to eat nearby is Luke's Kitchen in Kuoatunu, a few minutes drive away. Shopping is best done in either Coramandel, or Whitianga, each almost a 30 minute drive away on twisting mountain roads, so it's best to do the shopping on the way, prior to arrival.

We have no hesitation recommending this lovely villa to anyone who wants to explore this part of New Zealand.

Stunning location excellent property

We stayed here for 2 nights in early January.  There was a bottle of wine left for us in the fridge and Christmas card/new year card too.  The location has the most wonderful views of the sea, and it is very quiet.  There are two villas, but they are far enough apart to ensure privacy and tranquility.  It is really well equipped, and exceedingly comfortable.  The decor is immaculate and it feels like you are staying in someone's home.  We thoroughly enjoyed are swift visit and would stay again any time.

Beautifully cleaned, stunning views and friendly owner

Perched up on the top of a hill are two villas; the highest one has three bedrooms and the lower one has two.  There is a communal BBQ And swing. Decor is clean and the villas well appointed. Kitchen facilities were adequate.  When we arrived it was all clean. Wifi is poor.

However, it is the view that is quite stunning. Not cheap but that alone makes it worth every penny.

Stunning views

My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa the week before Christmas with our 4 year old son and just loved it. The villa itself is set up with all you could need with full kitchen, bathroom, laundry and two large bedrooms. 

The grounds are huge, which our boy loved running around on with his bike, and loved the swing too. There’s a great BBQ area which we didn’t get time to use but would recommend bringing some BBQ food if you stay here for sure.

The owners left a bottle of wine in the fridge for us which was perfect since we were pretty thirsty and wanted to take in the views as soon as we got there.
