My dad love here I think this is my favourite place to live nice pool and lot of fun dog allowed lot of place to camp and stay and live the pool some time not clean but it is most of the Time my dad’s dog love it there like him and me so you should go for a nice time to go with you family

My favourite place to live with my dad

Avoid this place!!! The camp management are terrible!! We booked in as a group of friends and were harassed when playing quiet  music. The camp manger Mike was quite arrogant towards us, not sure whether it was our ages (27, 22 and 28) or the fact we were part Maori. We did not feel comfortable at all, there are many long term people who where not working and were on drugs and alcohol.
We will never go back!!

This place is good. We like the site and even a bit old still clean. Michelle the manager very nice to us but old guy mike like a policeman riding around place on bike it's strange. The local camp people are nice and beaches good. Cafe on beach is great

Holiday

I spent more than a month in this lovely place the owner and people who works there are the best special mention to henrriete she was really cute and helpful with us, in general I have to say that the facilities are so clean and comun areas was really comfortable, I recommend this place a 100% without doubt

Great set up with powered sites + cabins.
Playground for the kids and a pool, kitchen facilities and a resident pig.
Friendly atmosphere and great for family getaways.
Short drive to the beach and Maketu 

Everything you need

Our kids absolutely loved the playground and pool.  There is also a tank and mini-putt course available both of which were also a hit.  Unfortunately the state of our cabins let the place down for us.  The kitchen in the units was not very clean, with drawers and shelves in the pantry all dirty and microwave in a similar state.  The units were also in quite a tired state and in need of some tidying up.  Once we got past this though we had a lovely time and really enjoyed the great facilities the place has to offer.

Room was budget and could do with a revamp but was clean and covered the essentials.  Pool was lovely, playground excellent and site was tidy and relaxed.  Good base for day trips to Mt Maunganui, Tauranga, Rotorua or Whakatane.

Budget but clean, tidy and comfortable

Good family place,cabins need a bit of an upgrade here and there but overall good place. Animals all around the place for kids to see. Pool and pool-area are nice. Shared Bathrooms seem clean and tidy.

This is a great park for families, so many activities to keep the children occupied and a great way to get them off their technology and back to being kids for a few days!

Malcolm and Anita the owners really go the extra mile to ensure you are having a great holiday. They are friendly and they really care about the park!

The communal facilities are clean and despite staying at peak time, I never once had to wait to use something.

We stayed in a tent site and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family camping holiday.

Newdicks beach (3km away) is beautiful and if that’s not enough, Mt Maunganui and Rotorua are under an hour away.
