A rustic villa, extremely clean, well appointed, cozy with an unmatched view of the Tasman Sea. We had a great time and one of the owners, Seth, welcomed us and explained all the features of the property. While we are used to a/c or fans, this villa used natural ventilation, sea breeze and open windows. We talked to Seth about providing fans, but once we open up the windows, we really didn't feel the need for one. We fell in love with the villas and the area and would love to be back in the future!

Understated paradise

Amazing views in a earthy very special villa. Beds were very comfortable and the place has all one needs.
So close to the beach and wonderful views everywhere. Definitely will try to find an available weekend and stay again 

Stunning views

Had my wife's 50th birthday party here and took the lodge, villas, the next door Air'BnB and some of the chalets at in Oakura.
Seth and his Parents could not have been more helpful and their dedication to us having a good time, which included putting up a shade-sail in torrential rain, made our stay there memorable. We will assuredly be back there.....if could give them 6 stars I would.

Absolute Gem of a Venue

We stayed in Ahu Ahu Beach Villas for two nights. I wished I could stay longer! Beautiful scene and quiet environment. One minute walk to the beach and it is safe for kids. I like the style of the villa, relaxing atmosphere with stunning sea views.

Fantastic accomondation

Beautifully crafted, spotlessly clean boutique villa's with amazing views. We loved every minute of our stay from the cosy ambience of the villa's to the beach walks to the excellent service from Seth. Nothing was too much trouble during the booking process and our stay. Perfectly located 3 mins from Oakura which has great cafe's and a welcoming pub and only 15mins from New Plymouth. Hard to beat!

Amazing Stay

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Stunning views and such a gorgeous Villa. The hosts are absoutely lovely. Honestly this is one of the nicest spots in NZ - I had no appreciation of the scenery,

Picture perfect and such fantastic accomodation

My wife and I came to stay here for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time. Our villa was immaculate with beautiful views out over clear blue sea. Spend a lovely weekend relaxing, reading and enjoying the views. Lots of beach walks nearby and we were able to amble to Oakura for coffee and pizza. Best of all our well behaved dog was welcome. We hope to visit again in the future.

Therapeutic stay with incredible views

These unique beach villas have been built and furnished with a loving commitment in an awesome Taranaki locality. We appreciated the attention to detail in constructing the villas and their comfortable amenities. A great place to relax and appreciate the owners effort in designing such style and ambiance in a perfect location on the coast. Enjoy this special holiday experience like us!

Relax and appreciate the unique ambiance

Escape to the stunning serenity of Ahu Ahu Beach Villas. That's what the Air NZ Kia Ora magazine page I tore out and squirrelled away for future reference promised. And this sustainable cottage (1 of 4) with it's bed and window seat views straight out to the ocean on the New Plymouth coastline delivered! Polished concrete floors flecked with paua and shells from the nearby beach, beds on the mezzanine level upstairs for the kids, Webber BBQ, galley kitchen stocked with enough to help you out (plunger coffee, oil, salt n pepper, milk). Higlights were roasting marshmallows over the firepit for our dessert smores and just never getting enough of the changing and stunning seascape view. What a magical place.

Stunning serenity

We loved the boutique Ahu Ahu Villas! Dave and Nuala are awesome hosts. They are so warm and friendly! They have a beautiful spot with the best views in the Naki! The Villas are incredibly gorgeous and a lot of love has gone into creating this unique accomodation. Can't wait to stay there again soon..
