Great hosts. Go above and beyond the call of duty, including dropping us at the wedding so we didn’t have to walk and taking pre wedding pics for us ! Also the dog is super cute. The rooms are super tidy. The breakfast was delish. 

Stayed for a wedding down the road

We were briefly greeted, instructed how the egg boiler and the coffee machine were working, which was fine, but the B&B had introduced us to some contact with the hosts. The room was clean and very quiet.

Self-service

Host Peter was very helpful and nice.  Our apartment has most of the things that we need - a nice coffee machine, egg steamer, clean water kettle, even a fridge full of wine (for sale). The decore is very cozy too. 
Location wise yes you'll need your own car but it's good that it's not in the centre of the town - hence it's always quiet.  Oh and have I mentioned about the split system air con (hot and cold) plus heaters that kept us warm ?

Cosy bnb

Very friendly hostess, although her lodge is quite difficult to find a road that is not tarred. The sign is not too visible. But once we got to the bottom of the alley that leads to the house, the good surprise was there. First we were greeted by a herd of daims and then the house that is beautiful in the greenery. We breathe in peace and tranquility. We had the whole floor to ourselves and the housewife perfectly to make us comfortable. We could walk around the property and admire the daims herd. Breakfast was quite light but enough and the wifi was excellent.

Excellent and friendly

Wife and i stayed with Pete & Devon over a weekend whilst hiking the Old Coach Road.  Their property is conveniently located to Ohakune, yet just enough out of town to be rural.  Pete & Devon are great hosts, 10/10 would stay again.

Amazing property in stunning Ohakune

When we arrived we realized that we weren't expecting a forget, no doubt! We started to show us the sequel but eventually we were moved to another room, we really felt too much and very uncomfortable! Luckily we had our own way after this cold welcome the relationships stayed very far away What a shame because the house is very quiet and the facilities are comfortable Put some human organization and warmth in your house and it will be perfect!

Greetings from Devon and Peter, generous, well-maintained rooms and living rooms, free Wi-Fi, absolutely stylish property a few miles outside, ideal starting point for excursions.

Stylish B & B in the Green

Spacious, comfortable room with high quality, appealing furnishings that fit the alpine setting.  Breakfast foods and beverages provided for us to prepare and eat when convenient.  Liked the combination of informality in serene gracious setting with garden views.  Hosts Devon and Peter were warm, fun and helpful.

Definitely a Boutique B&B

We stayed there for two nights. Although there was a problem with our reservation, we were taken care of and everything was settled quickly. We shared our lunches with the owners, both of them nice. Excellent coffee:) and a very adequate lunch. Our room was a little small (reservation problem) but comfortable and clean. Same for the bathroom. The place is well located, only 40 minutes from Tongariro National Park. It's a go!

Nice stop on our way

Peter and Devon are excellent hosts, and their accommodation was perfect for us as two couples travelling together. We had the upstairs 'flat' with two bedrooms and communal lounge/breakfast area. You need a car to get to the nearest restaurants in Ohakune, but the restaurants are good. The walks in Tongariro are excellent, although we picked a miserable day for it and only managed the waterfall walk which was good. Highly recommended B&B.
